I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong for one night on 16 August and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The harbour view from my room was truly stunning and certainly one of the highlights of the stay. Check-in was handled by Olivier, who made the process exceptionally smooth and welcoming, with his professional and attentive service really set the tone for the stay. I would also like to thank Daniel from Concierge, who was very helpful and provided thoughtful assistance whenever needed. While most aspects were excellent, I believe housekeeping could be further improved, as a few small details were not up to the otherwise very high standard of the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I look forward to returning in the future.

The first room we were allocated wasn’t ideal. However, we quickly changed rooms and the new one was lovely, the division between the bedroom and study area is a very good touch. The attention to small details was much appreciated, the bookmarks, the glasses holder and stationary. The bed was super comfortable. The staff at Man Wah were superb - please pass on our thanks. Very attentive and great attention to detail. The food was also superb. The gym was good but the sauna a let down as I couldn’t work out how to make the room hotter. All in all, a lovely place.

The staff were uniformly pleasant and attentive, always willing to provide some extra touch for comfort or pleasure. I felt that there was likely no request I could make that could not be accommodated. Appreciated the fact that sustainability actions were genuine. Some hotels, despite signs to hang towels or tag bed linens to remain in place, routinely change them out daily. In such cases, I've always felt that it was performative and that the staff had not been educated. Clearly, this is not the case at the MO, HK. Lastly, thank you for making the typhoon stay-in day fun with your newsletter, photo contest, and prize. My heart went out to all staff who could not go home that evening but really appreciated their concern for the comfort, happiness, and security of guests. Thank you all. For the past decade, I have traveled for business nearly 5 months a year; I've stayed in many hotels but honestly feel that the MO HK is one of the best hotels anywhere.

Easily the best hotel in the whole world. Myself and my travel party always feel so welcomed when we stay here and love the attention to detail. For instance, I left a book out that I was reading that I was using a pokemon card as my bookmark. The house cleaning staff ended up giving me a really nice bookmark. It was a nice touch. Another example was my artist I was traveling with left his laptop out. His laptop screen was gross and someone left a microfiber cloth to clean the screen. The staff in the lobby were always so attentive and insisting on helpin with bags and what not, giving advice on where to go, and helping us with overall sense of direction. I specifcically routed my travel plans to come and stay in Hong Kong vs. going straight to Singapore because of this amazing hotel. Everytime we have gone it's exceptional. I hope this won't be the last time and I hope the level of service continues to exceed expecations. We typically stay at Four Seasons globally but MO definitely exceeds their level of service EVERY, SINGLE, TIME!!!!!

My First Stay at Mandarin Oriental – A Truly Memorable Experience It was my first time staying at the Mandarin Oriental, and I had high expectations — which were more than met. From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and I truly felt welcomed as a valued guest. I would especially like to commend one of the staff members, Diane Lee. I sincerely hope that the Mandarin Oriental recognizes her exceptional service. As a fellow Korean, she may have been able to understand my needs more intuitively, but beyond that, her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our entire stay exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to her, my first experience at the Mandarin Oriental became a beautiful memory. I will definitely be recommending the hotel to all my friends and family. Thank you again for giving me such a wonderful stay and unforgettable memories in Hong Kong.
