A lovely little hostel. We had a private room with ensuite. It was very clean and quiet, the shower was good. Not much of a window but we didn't mind as we were out all day exploring, anyway. Our bedside lamp didn't work but wasn't a big problem. Only sheets on the bed, but blankets not needed since so hot. There's aircon in the room, and a fridge and a safe. I didn't look in any of the dorm rooms, so not sure what they have. There are many stairs and no lift so don't choose here if you aren't willing to carry your luggage up the stairs. The staff are very helpful and arrange tours, recommend places for massage etc. The hostel is in an alley that's too narrow for cars so you need a grab bike or to walk from the end of the lane which is easy. Loads of food options nearby, and a great massage place a couple of doors down called Midori that supports visually impaired people with employment. The breakfast is very simple - a bread roll with either an egg-only omelette OR jam and butter. And a banana. They sell bottled water in reception for a good price - 10 000 dong.
The Luxury Backpacker Hostel – A Hidden Gem in Hanoi! They say location is everything, and this place has it all! ? Right by Hoan Kiem Lake (a must-see anyway) and just steps from Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter. Almost everything is within walking distance, making it super easy to explore without relying on taxis or Grab rides. ✨ Why Stay Here? ✅ Immaculately clean – from rooms to common areas. ✅ Friendly and welcoming staff – always ready to help. ✅ Tasty breakfast to kickstart your day. ✅ Comfy beds with a handy built-in shelf. ✅ Fast & reliable Wi-Fi – no lag, no frustration. ✅ Hot showers anytime you need. ? Bonus: A small balcony where you can soak in the street vibes without the chaos. Plus, despite being in the heart of the city, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, so you can actually get a good night’s sleep. ? This isn’t just a hostel—it’s part of the Hanoi experience. Highly recommend it for budget travelers who still want comfort! ?
This is a wonderful place to stay — everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the value for money is excellent. The location is also great, right in the city center. A special mention goes to Lynn at the reception — she is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stay!
One of the comfiest beds I’ve had in a hostel in south east Asia, very private, lots of storage and a great temperature in bedroom with a private fan in the bed as well as AC. Absolute bargain for the price. Great staff at reception especially Linh who is always happy to see you when coming and going from the hostel, really nice atmosphere.
