We had a relaxing yet super fun trip with LooLa last weekend. We never thought we could do so much activity during the 3d2n stay - as we checked out quite early (~8am) on the last day (we checked in fairly late too ~5pm). Isabelle (the owner) connected me promptly when we first have booking issue. She patiently answered my questions and nicely suggested activities to cater to our stay. Our trainner during the stay, Nor, is very friendly and kind! After we feedback the food portion is not enough, they generously take care of our request to make sure we are well fed during the stay. We had so many activities - my favourite is definitely the coconut tree climbing!! Lots of facilities in the resort - it's a great place for family trip. Its during Hari raya holiday and they are short of crew for some of the activity, but still we enjoyed it! The chalet doesn't come with aircon, but at night, it's so breezy and cooling. Room conditions could be improved, as the shower room floor tiles are cracked (could be dangerous if someone kick on it). Oh, do bring your own hair dryer cause they don't have one, and lots of mosquito repellent to fight the mozzie and bugs! My husband thinks the food variety could be better or perhaps they could share the food menu on the day. Overall, it's a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Loola in April 2025. We went there with some friends (6 kids in total) and rented the Sabine villa. The villa is beautiful with an amazing view of the bay in front of it, facilities where very good and super clean. The food was amazing and just the right mix between local delicacies and some western food also so that it was easy with the kids. The staff was very welcoming, very dedicated and amazing with kids. We had our days filled with fun activities from canoe to coco tree climbing and zip line descent. Very safe and a beautiful area to just chill and enjoy. The highlight was the camp fire with marshmallow at the end ! Would warmly recommend !

We are a family of 4 that had a great 3D2N stay at Bintan Loola. The instructor that was tagged to our family planned all the activities during our stay and he's definitely engaged us fully. My kids loved doing the activities with him, not only engaging but educational as well. He shared much knowledge with kids on the marine life while they were out on marine walks/kayak. It was a full board stay and our stomachs were filled with yummy food thru out the stay! Service was excellent and customised to our itinerary. We even had a bonfire on the last night and clams (caught by the kids)! Although it is not a luxurious resort, the rooms were sufficient.

Spent a week there with my family. Not a luxurious resort but all your needs are met. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is simple but delicious. Rooms are well-furnished with daily housekeeping. Mattress and pillows are comfortable. Everything is very clean. I picked Isa villa, which has aircon in the bedrooms. We did many activities there - kayaking, tidal walk, rock climbing, zipline, skywalk, coconut tree climbing, boomnet jump into the sea, fishing, kite making, raft building. Thanks to our guide Dayat, who was really great. He took care of us, attended to our needs, responded to our requests and supported us during the activities. Highly recommend for families, as long as you are prepared for minimal aircon and no wifi.

A Memorable Family Retreat in Bintan My family and I spent our first holiday week at this resort, enticed by the promise of all-inclusive activities. Little did we know, we were in for a surprise—a retreat we would never forget! Our journey began with a scenic one-hour ferry ride from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bintan Island. Upon arrival, a friendly driver greeted us and transported us to the resort, another hour-long drive across the island. Along the way, we caught glimpses of local life and the island’s natural beauty. At the resort, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Hidayat, who was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay, ensuring all our needs were met. Accommodation & Surroundings The resort sits atop a vast landscape where, during low tide, the seawater recedes as far as the eye can see—no exaggeration! The moment we arrived, my kids dashed to the beach, eager to hunt for fiddler and hermit crabs, which were plentiful. Since the beach isn’t the white-sand type, I highly recommend bringing a pair of sturdy crocs (with back straps) or well-fitted water shoes. (Pro tip: Get them at Decathlon, but make sure they fit snugly—loose shoes can easily get stuck in the ankle-deep mud or slip off during activities!) We opted for a non-air-conditioned room, which comfortably fit all five of us, unlike the air-conditioned option that would have split us into separate rooms. Surprisingly, the natural breeze at night was wonderfully cooling, and the beds came with mosquito nets and individual fans—perfect for a tropical stay. Activities: First-Class & Thrilling The resort takes its activities seriously, especially the high-element courses. The team was highly professional, guiding us through each challenge with clear instructions and strong safety measures. Their structured approach reminded me of professional adventure parks I’ve visited—and I’ve been to quite a few! While most activities matched the website’s descriptions, the white sand island was no longer available, as it had been privatized. That said, the shallow waters made water activities like sailing, kayaking, and rafting (which you’ll build yourself!) incredibly accessible. Stepping off the boat into the ocean, the water only reached waist-deep—ideal for families and beginners. Food: A Mixed Bag Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the food—some hits, some misses. However, my wife enjoyed the meals, and our youngest couldn’t get enough of the fresh fruits. The occasional local dishes that popped up were a nice touch for those wanting to try something new. Final Thoughts: More Than Just a Holiday What stood out most were the first-class activities—so engaging that I ended each day completely exhausted! My family adored the futsal field, the makeshift volleyball/basketball court, and the simple obstacle course, which kept us entertained during downtime. This wasn’t just a typical vacation; it was a bonding experience that brought us closer together. If you’re looking for an adventurous, family-friendly retreat, this place delivers in ways you wouldn’t expect. We left with unforgettable memories—and maybe a few extra crab souvenirs! ^_^
