3C Tôn Đức Thắng, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh
Stayed here for 4 nights, and I had the best view from the room. Which was facing the Saigon River! I happen to witness the fireworks that was set off on 29th April, which was in conjunction with the 50th year independence of Saigon from the US. The access to restaurants nearby is extremely convenient, and pedestrian walk paths are available. The hotel staffs are courteous, and they are always available whenever you need their assistance. The breakfast options are extremely hearty! Including the quality and type of food that was available at the Lounge which is located at the 22nd floor of the hotel.
I’m not exactly sure how many times I stayed at this location but probably over 10 times. While i’m there I enjoy the my accommodation over looking the rivers, thunderstorm monsoon rains which is a fun and scary to sit on the window ledge with a beers and of course the traffic below too. the staffs was extremely friendly and helpful especially when I needed help with vietnamese translation, direction and when I needed a conference room for my meeting. I did ate at AKUNA twice and it was quite an experience with the taste profile but their wines and champagne selection is a must pairing. I’m not sure about the lounge being free or not but I that where I ate most of my breakfast and while it not the biggest versus the Sheration but it still a delicious with a wide range of options for all nationalities. as for unwind, the bar drinks selection is enough for you to forget the hot weather and work meeting and the foods is actually pretty good. however, the staffs will keep your tap and drinks pouring not sure if that a vietnamese things or just being friendly. overall, if you’re an Elite marriott members that want a quiet place to stay, then this hotel is for you. if you want a little more noisy and night life vibes, then the sheraton is for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at one of my favorite Marriott hotels in Saigon. The view of the Saigon River was spectacular, both day and night. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large king-size bed. The club sandwich and Caesar chicken salad were delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel.
One of the warmest welcome experiences we have ever had at a Hotel. Shout out to Mrs. Tina on the Front Desk. Extremely understanding and accommodating. We very much appreciate such a positive attitude. Overall helpfulness and service mentality throughout the Hotel is excellent as well. After a wonderful holiday at Le Meridien Maldives last year, the Le Meridien Saigon makes us just loving this brand even more... Thank you very much!
