849 Moo 2 Ao Nang Soi 2/1 Muang Krabi Krabi 81000, Thailand
Loved our stay at Lario, we missed our flight and the staff was very understanding about our delay and had everything ready when we came over, the front reception were very professional, spoke English really well and also has a bike renting option. The rooms were pretty great for the value and the hotel is nearby to almost everything in town, the night markets and the beach. Had a great time! The staff was also kind enough to book us a van for our airport departure at 5am in the morning sharp.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Me and my family feel like we are treated like a family during our stay there. Staff are very friendly especially Ms Onta. She give us some recommendations what to do there since this is our 3rd visit to krabi, we prefer visit to local places. Surely will come and stay at this hotel again.
I had a pleasure to stay at this hotel for 2 weeks. Girls from reception always welcome you with big smile. Cool rooftop and good massage and food around.
The hotel room was nice and clean with a basic tea station and toiletries. The water pressure was good and the bed was comfortable. The staff really enhanced our stay, they were friendly, attentive and took excellent care of us, namely K'Noi and K'Onta. They would be a perfect fit at any luxury resort. The pool was clean well maintained. The location is great as there are many foot options within walking distance and we really enjoyed the walk from the hotel to the beach. It's a nice way to explore the area. I cannot give 5 stars due to the noise levels between midnight and 5 am. The hallway has no noise buffers and guests coming in after midnight had no consideration of how loud they were. Perhaps floor rugs and door seals will help reduce the noise from ignorant people. Overall, I recommend LaRio Hotel for a comfortable stay while exploring AoNang.
I think we got the most expensive rooms - the room was situated on two floors connected by stairs. The bed and the bathroom is situated on the 1st floor (up the stairs). The 'ground floor' of the room houses the sofa, balcony and a small fridge. Overall, great room and hotel staff is very kind and helpful. The only downside, which at the time of booking, I underestimated, was the distance of the hotel from the beach. It takes around 25-30 minutes to reach Ao Nang Beach by walking. This can be a huge inconvenience when, for example, you want to return to your hotel when the temperature is the highest, which we did (12:30 - 13:30). The sun was schorching during the whole walk. I didn't mind it that much, but I was with my 55 years old parents and they were having harder time than myself. Of course, we sometimes used Grab or motorbikes, but just be aware of this. Other than that, great place to stay.
