The rooms are very clean and usable. It's not a luxury room by western standards, but it's very nice and comfortable. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's definitely the highlight of this hotel. The location is also excellent. There is a busy park across the street, and you can easily walk to hundreds of restaurants and shops. The hotel staff also does daily laundry for guests at no charge. You just leave clothes in the basket in your room, and they return them washed and folded. I never knew how much I would appreciate it. I would definitely stay here again.

We've been traveling in Vietnam for 3 weeks, and stayed at 6 different hotels. Lantern Hotel sets a high bar for others to follow; everything from clean and comfy room to make you feel at home to the little details such as daily refreshments in the lobby and laundry service as part of their housekeeping services. And of course, the staff. They delivered 5 star services at a 3 stars hotel price, especially Ngan. She helped us with our heavy luggage and sends us off with a gracious farewell. The staff definitely earned the 5 stars review. They went above and beyond their duties to make us happy. The room and building may be old, but she's a beauty and very clean. It's also located in a great location right across from the park with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. Oh, drinks in the minibar is also free.

First of all, staffs here are AMAZING!!! They are so kind and personable with full of hospitality. They talked me in Japanese and lots of information to enjoy city. (They speak English/Japanese except Vietnamese) Rooms are well cleaned and any discomfort! They charge some bottles of water, cola, and juice every day in refrigerator and they do laundry everyday for free. If you have breakfast at hotel, you can order it in advance and it’ll be served to your room! It was delicious and had good portion, costed 15k don. You can enjoy drink on the ground floor. Ho Chi Minh City is busy, but I guarantee calm and relaxing time at Lantern Hotel!

First off, the service in this hotel is on another level and is some of the best I have ever seen. The staff are kind and go above and beyond to provide great service. The rooms are also nice and clean, though aren't anything too special. The location is also amazing, being close to many tourist attractions and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lantern Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The staff was absolutely amazing — so warm, kind, and always ready to help with anything. A lovely detail we appreciated every day was the herbal tea at the reception — such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. If you’re looking for a place with heart and genuine hospitality, this hotel is a wonderful choice. Thank you ?♥️
