The location is good, you get access to local restaurants and shops. Hotel service is good but even better was the in-house restaurant. There are options to make dishes vegetarian, and we tried their noodles. Room is spacious but be sure to ask for extra pillows.

It's a more tranquil ambience, particularly at night. Minimal night activities in the surrounding, Which we liked!

Nice and clean rooms.
The windows are thin and you have the main street right in front of you. So you can hear the street constantly.

Showed us a the room before booking which was on back side of building which was quiet then when we checked in gave us a room on the road side which was so noisy that it felt like the windows were open with cars driving past all night. Incorrect times for services posted on the door of the restaurant. Staff were lovely, although they made us wait till 1pm on the dot to check in.

Reasonable hotel.

Terrific bed, which looks even bigger thanks to the scant pillow offerings. Clean rooms, with excellent hot rain shower option.

I would strongly urge you to request a room at the back of the hotel. The noise from the main road is incredibly invasive and interminable. The sound proofing provided by the windows was so bad I thought they were wide open and youths with their loud exhausts will keep you awake.

Parking is ample at the front and around the back. The location really demands a car of you. It's on the main road by the river, but a couple of minutes drive to the action.

900b a night was OK for what we got. Although I'd expect breakfast at most places for that money. At least you can go to the amazing dim sum place instead down the road.

There is a possibility that the poor service I received was because the hotel was under going some renovations or maybe it was because it was official low season.

I was given room 318 which looks refurbished the decoration was a clean design which is pleasant. The bed is huge and very comfy and the bedding is of high quality. There is a fridge in the room but no water, a TV and the hotel offers free Wi-Fi which is slow. There is a light switches and a phone socket behind the pillows on the bed making it very easy to turn the lights off but roll over at night and you turn them on again and wake yourself up, there are no plug sockets close to the bed, so charging devices is a pain.

The bathroom has 2 shower heads, a rain shower and a standard head half way down. What I didn't like is you can't turn on the shower without being in it, so you have to take the shock of cold water before it gets to a good temperature. Also the bathroom is a wet room and the drain is in the wrong place, so the bathroom floor get soaked everywhere and is a slip hazard.

I tried the hotel restaurant for breakfast, I was the only person but the service was extremely slow. I ordered the set breakfast which included coffee, the food was okay but I wanted another coffee and watched the staff avoid me for an hour (I wasn't just sitting there an hour, I was writing a blog).  After an hour a completely different employee came to clear my table, giving me the chance to order another coffee.

It was obvious during my stay that the hotel was getting ready for the high season. There were patches of plaster board on the ceiling and the whole of floor 2 had the carpet ripped up and workers there.

The hotel is located on the same road as the "crab statue" and it took me 30 minutes to walk into Krabi town. There is a family mart shop 5 minutes away but across a busy road. It cost me 200 baht in a grab car to get from the bus station to the hotel.

I have just discovered that the 24hr Airport Transfer is 400 baht!
