A wonderful stay at Krabi Golden Hill
Lovely quiet location with bars and restaurants nearby, and only a short walk to the river walk and main town.
Beautiful, clean and comfortable room with everything we needed.
Loved the stunning pool to relax in the afternoon. Would have been nice to have towels included.

We have just arrived after travelling to find bed bugs in our bed and dirty towels. We raised it with the reception who called their manager as they do not do refunds and only offered to change the bed sheets which doesn’t solve the problem. The manager said there is no bed bugs and made out like we were making this up. We argued for about 5 minutes before he hung the phone up on me as I said I had evidence of this.

They couldn’t get us another room as they were full and said they will not give us a refund they would consider one night and then we will have to come back for the other night again and deal with it.

The manager was completely rude on the phone, but the staff in the reception did try to assist.

Not had an issue yet in Asia but the way this was handled was horrific, glad we took a video as this was not taken seriously even with proof - would not recommend staying here it is dirtier than anywhere I’ve experienced.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Checked in and went down to the pool, when we came back up we realised the bed was covered in hundreds of ants. When we told the staff, they blamed us and said we must’ve eaten something sweet! We asked for a new room and they were fully booked so when asked for a refund, they would only give us half as we had “used the room” for one hour. Extremely disappointed in the stay

We needed to stay in Krabi for 1 night and booked this hotel via Agoda as the rating wasn’t bad. The hotel staff is very friendly but the room gave us goosebumps.

There was a really weird smell in the room as well as in the bathroom, the room wasn’t clean with hair and dirt on the floor and in the shower, moldy ceilings and ants in the bathroom enjoying their stay.

Be aware that the bed is super hard, the walls are thin and the AC didn’t turn off so we had to remove the key card to turn off the whole electricity for the room. Not ideal but for us it was ok for the short stay.

The hotel is also not situated in the best location for a longer stay but to catch the ferry from Kong Ka Pier it’s good & 15 minutes by foot.

We are sorry to say, that we wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone visiting Krabi for more than 1 night.

We were booked in too stay tonight but had to leave, there was ants all over the bed, when I asked to be moved they said they were booked out and that we must have eaten something sweet to attract the ants!!! They would only refund half the money as we had used the room (for an hour). I know it is a cheap hotel but has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in
