We stayed three nights at Katathani Resort and had a wonderful experience. Our ocean-view room was clean, spacious, and had a luxurious feel to it. The pool was spotless and inviting, with the Coconut Bar right next to it—a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite, and always pleasant. The front desk team was especially great, offering useful suggestions and local recommendations. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach and within walking distance to many nearby restaurants. The resort itself is expansive, with multiple dining options to suit all tastes. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious choices each morning. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would highly recommend Kata Resort to anyone visiting the area.

One of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had. After receiving numerous recommendations from friends and family, we finally decided to visit—and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The resort offers a wide variety of restaurants and cocktail bars, catering to all tastes. It is particularly well-suited for families with children, featuring an impressive water park and seven to eight immaculately maintained swimming pools. There are also several local shops nearby, and affordable hourly massage services are readily available. The buffet options were diverse and of high quality. The beach was pristine in the mornings, although it can become untidy by the evening due to some guests not disposing of their rubbish properly. However, the resort staff ensures it is thoroughly cleaned and restored. Highly recommended for both families and couples. We would gladly return again and again.

Lovely resort. Kids loved the pool and slide. Restaurant options were good - good Thai restaurant on site and the ocean view restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Pool side dining was good too. Beach was lovely and clean. Unfortunately when we were there the no swim flags were up quite a lot and it was pretty choppy waters, but not the fault of the resort obviously. Life guards were actively monitoring the beach and warning people not to swim when it wasn't safe.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff, all of them were absolutely fantastic. I did give a 3/5 for our accommodation only because the room itself needs some revamping - though I believe this is in progress. Location in a pool access room was simply lovely - fabulous for an early wake-up swim. I simply cannot fault the attentiveness from every single member of staff and having travelled a lot, this is very impressive. Thankyou kindly for such a wonderful and welcoming stay.
