I had a wonderful stay at JW Marriott Auckland! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. The location is perfect — it’s easy to walk to many popular tourist spots from the hotel. Plus, having the option to park your car on-site is definitely a bonus. Everything was just perfect — I truly enjoyed my stay!

This is a lovely hotel with a central location in Auckland CBD. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Now the not so good stuff which is surprising for a JW 5star hotel. 1)the room were noisy. I can literally hear the conversation of people in the next room 2) I was there for only two nights and on the second day my room was not serviced. I was out of the room by 9am and returned at 5:30. Seems like plenty of time to service the room 3) the front desk does not have enough staff. You have to wait at least 15 minutes to check in or talk to a clerk. 4) breakfast was underwhelming for a 5 star hotel. No omelette station and options were limited. I don’t recommend paying the very high price for a mediocre breakfast. All that said I am have gold status and it didn’t matter. Nice hotel, good location but I would rather stay at the four points down queen street. Which I stayed at earlier in my trip for four nights because the JW was booked.

Our stay at the newly renovated Marriott was extremely satisfying! The board games you provided for the kids were such a sweet gesture. We were also very pleased with the breakfast. In particular, server Jade and Chef Joe were so kind and attentive, making it a truly special day. The surprise card and cake in the room to celebrate our child’s birthday is something we’ll never forget. It was such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to our family. The exclusive Marriott plush toy was so adorable—we just couldn’t leave without getting one! We were there to celebrate our kids’ birthday, and they were absolutely thrilled. Thank you for making it such a memorable experience!
