After we booked our stay, we got scared from the bad reviews but overall had a nice stay! We got two of the cheaper Garden-view rooms (around $44/night pp) so for a 5-star, good value. Our experience: - check-in was super smooth, we even caught an earlier boat than expected no problem, and getting the room keys was also fast - Rooms: we booked 2 rooms, 1 had a damp smell, one didn’t. But both were very modern and comfortable apart from that. - Getting around: actually enjoyed going around on the golf carts, and never had to wait long for one. Would have also been walkable but we always opted for a ride. Boat transfers to Phuket were also convenient (100THB per way for a speedboat ride, but there was also a free longtail boat ride) - Staff: would give 5-stars if not for the smell in the rooms - staff were always accommodating, never rude. - Spa: one of the highlights - the Thai massages were great! More expensive than on Phuket, but generally nicer experience and with the discounts for multiple massages, price wasn’t too bad (around $30/hr for a Thai massage)

Beautiful resort with an amazing pool! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I really enjoyed laying by the pool and enjoying some cocktails as well! They had many fun activities included with our stay, which was really nice! There would be a timetable with each activity included, or you could pay for your own time slot. I'd suggest doing the all-inclusive as the restaurants and drinks are expensive. Rooms were big and clean. If I were to be picky, the mattress was a little hard.

I am surprised the ratings are low because I really enjoyed my stay here. The sheets did have a slight musty smell to it-it may be nice if the sprayed lavender water over it when they clean the room-but it was not overwhelming. Room was big and clean. Staff was very helpful and communicative. Breakfast was great. We only had one other meal at the resort and it was OK. Pool was big and gorgeous and well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful. Gym is very nice. I enjoyed being able to walk on the well maintained paths but they also have golf carts to take you places. If you decide to book here make sure you understand the boat schedule beforehand. If we hadn’t then it would have been very frustrating as the boats don’t run every hour. We left for main town Phuket at 9 am and got back 2300 and it worked great for us. The other thing I’ll mention is I wish the kayaks were free to use.
