Stayed with a colleague for business and couldn't fault the stay at all. The rooms were very chic and elegant and had many nice touches with the hotel in a great central location for anyone wishing to enjoy Paris for business or pleasure. Would highly recommend and will happily stay again.
The staff were amazing and helped with everything we needed. We weren't sure which places were best for currency exchange, and they gave us a list. We wanted to make ramen in our room, and they provided bowls and utensils. We asked for coffee recommendations, and they gave us a list of personal favorites. The soundproofing of the rooms is great! The location is really good. You can get food, coffee, and pastries within 5mins in all directions. Very close to metro stations. It's in a quiet area too so you don't have traffic or loud people at night. The best part was definitely the staff and the service the provided. The only downside was that the view from our specific room wasn't good. But it's not like we spent a lot of time in our room.
We went with 2 couples in April 2025 and stayed 5 nights. Every single thing in the hotel was amazing - rooms, comfort, breakfast but the best part about the hotel is the employees representing it - especially in the reception area. Every person was absolutely perfect in everything they did. will definitely stay there again on our next trip.
I was debating giving this 3 stars, but I think 4 is more appropriate because the rooms were quite comfortable and the location is tough to beat. We were greatly surprised that this is considered a 5 star hotel, I’d consider it a very light 4 star accommodation, at best. There were none of the little touches you’d expect in a 5 star and we didn’t find the staff to be particularly welcoming. The location’s great and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, however. We’ll likely try a different spot our next time in Paris.
We love this special hotel, it’s a real gem. Located in a quiet street in the 9th arrondissement, Hotel de Nell combines the best of a small, boutique hotel with an understated but welcoming atmosphere. There’s also a lovely restaurant with excellent breakfast. The staff are superb, friendly without being formal, knowledgeable and happy to assist. The rooms were gorgeous clean and well-stocked. We were lucky to have a balcony with super views of the neighbourhood. Despite being out of the main tourist vibe, it was a great spot from which to explore and you can walk easily to the Metro and Gard du Nord was a 15 minute walk for our Eurostar. Thank you everyone at the Hotel de Nell, we shall be back.
