Just visited the pool. A 60k admission (in May 2025) included fruit salad and iced lychee tea. Pool is more than enough for some lap swimming. I'd even say it's better than some other well-known public pools in the area value-wise

This hotel does the job for a very short stay, but you won't be comfortable if staying for several days or intend on relaxing in the hotel much. The place is quite dated and the rooms need urgent painting as there are scuffs and dirt marks all over the walls. My bedding was mostly clean fortunately, but there were a couple yellow faded stains on some of the pillows. I do not know why you would put clean towels on the toilet seat!

Location is good with convenience stores located right by the hotel entrance and staff are friendly. I did have a nice view of the river and skyline.

Where do I even begin with this place? Maybe the second worst place I've stayed at in Indonesia.
I chose this hotel predominantly for location (university next door that i had to attend for 1 day) but had high (4.3 star) reviews on Google. I had booked two nights but would have left the first day if it werent that I had an important meeting at the next door university early the following morning.
Let's begin:
Cons:
-The hotel is older and needs lots of touch-ups. Paint discolorations and patches all over the walls. Baseboards are mispainted and scuffed. Sealants are badly painted over. Paint on curtains and so on.
-my room was directly across from elevator (which is unfortunate with how busy the hotel is and not their fault) but there was a loud speaker just outside of my room's door that blasted chinese music all night. I called to have it turned off and my request was ignored. I had to travel to the front desk in the middle of the night to request again, only for them to tell me the music was coming from the 2nd floor. When i pointed at a similar speaker just near the front desk they finally believed me where the music was coming from. (Shouldnt take this much effort but i do understand maybe it was a language barrier)
-the overall cleanliness of room and lobby is atrocious. Dirty tissues stuffed in seats, stains on linens, dirty shower floor towel, no hand soap, cockroaches, mosquitos in the room. Overall just plain GROSS.
-the room safe (safety deposit box) did not work / dead
-balcony door/window did not close properly and lots of air escaping.
-room reaked of smoke and could smell fresh cigarette smoke coming into room from neighboring rooms.
-bed linens were not tucked in. May regret doing it but on our decision to leave i peeled back the sheet that covered the bed (was never tucked in) and was thoroughly skeeved out with the amount of miscelanious stains and peoples hair that saturated the mattress.

Pros:
-welcome fruit plate
-good tv stations.

When booking I thought this would be a reasonable value given that its a bit pricier than other options but reviews mentioned how clean it was and i splurged for the suite. This is unacceptable overall when paying for the higher quality room.

Unfortunately can’t recommend this place. I found (evidence of) bedbugs. When I arrived late at night, I did a check on the mattress as I always do. There were many dots and weird spots, so I went to the reception. The only thing they wanted to offer is a different room. I don’t take my chances with bedbugs so I had to book another hotel and taxi at 2 AM at night. They didn’t help me at all, and are not replying to my emails. Very disappointed.
