This place also boasts a luxurious inner city stay with lovely views and elegant rooms with gorgeously soft bedding and pillows. I dined in the restaurant and ate the most divine steak dish I have ever eaten in my life in a very stylish surroundings with a great view of the sky tower. Honestly, I have eaten very nice food before but this dish well exceeded my expectations...so much so I ordered another one! The chocolate and cherry tirumusu was amazing too! Their buffet breakfast as well. The omelette was cooked fresh and the other breakfast items were delicious especially the mango and coconut chia puddings! This Hotel changed the course of my stay by offering me a late check out free of charge. In particular, Cyril and team could not do enough to make my stay more pleasant! The level of customer service here is exceptional- exceptional quality, exceptional cleanliness, exceptional dining and exceptional people. If you want to go to a hotel that just treats you as a number, go elsewhere, but if you want to go somewhere where they treat you like a human being (I mean you can even order a lavender scented pillow) come here!

Very nice modern hotel with well appointed rooms. Very clean room and comfy bed. Exceptional toiletries in bathroom which made me do some research on the products. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

A really great stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. My room was a good size, nice to have a couch to sit on other than the bed. The bed was very comfortable, room was quiet and laid out well. I had continental breakfast each morning which was delicious, generous and the restaurant is placed really nicely so creates a really nice relaxing way to start the day. All of the team were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location for me was great and being mid-town, it was an easy walk everywhere. I would definitely stay again.

Spent 3 nights for our 25th anniversary. What wonderful accommodations. Staff were warm and welcoming. We were given a surprise treat in our room for our anniversary. Thank you staff for making it so special. The rooms are a great size and I love the layout. Bathroom was treat clean and spacious. The location is close to everything we wanted to do. I will definitely recommend and come back.

I had such a great experience during my stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, with everything you need nearby. A massive thank you to Joyal, the Duty Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. From the warm welcome at check-in to checking in on how I was doing throughout the stay, his kindness and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Also Shy is super friendly and nice. Great crew. The room service was exceptional and it was clean and cozy, the staff were all friendly, and the whole atmosphere was super relaxed.
