SCAM ALERT

We fell for the positive Google reviews and stayed at this hotel for one night. It turns out the hotel staff is creating fake 5-star reviews for themselves.

Here’s how they do it: When you check in, the receptionist will ask you to show your booking reference and hold onto your phone for a moment. Meanwhile, another staff member will ask you for your address and phone number. In this brief time, the receptionist will add a fake Google review using your account.

Additionally, the place and hotel were unsettling. The utensils were dirty, the rooms were small, and the TV and bathroom accessories were broken (see the attached pictures). To top it off, we discovered a ladder leading up to our room outside the window.

Overall, this feels like a coordinated scam. We didn’t have enough time to report it, but otherwise, we would have filed a police report for the fraudulent use of our Google account.

Do NOT book or stay here. It’s a scam place with dirty unchanged sheets and bed linen.
1) prior to checking in, I messaged the hotel my arrival time upon which I received a booking.com message that my booking had been modified - which I thought was the arrival time - but no, the hotel “adjusted” the fare, increasing the price by 50%
2) upon arrival, they tried to pull off the same google maps review scam with me like with the other reviewers here - I never let go of my phone tho
3) once in the room (I’d already walked out of the hotel assuming I wouldn’t pay the adjusted fare) I got a room… and saw that there were footprints on the linen - they clearly hadn’t been changed - which is disgusting.
I don’t understand why they fall back to these scams and cheap methods - instead they could just do their job - I’m not expecting much from a $12 per night hotel…
Also: their airport drop off for 1000R is ridiculous compared to Uber charging 160!
Don’t fall for it - it’s not worth it.

AVOID. Booked this on reservation on booking.com. When I arrived I showed the front desk receptionist my booking reservation on my phone. He then took my phone to seemingly get a better look at the reservation number. The other receptionist had me jot down my information in the log book which all the hotels in the area seem to do. While this was happening the first receptionist opened up google maps on my phone and proceeded to give the hotel a 5 star review under my account. When I questioned them on this their eyes were wide like deer in headlights. This felt extremely violating and I did not feel comfortable staying at this property. I went to the hotel next door (Opera hotel) where the staff was much more professional.

Stayed here a night due to the distance to the airport and kinda budget. However, the front desk staff was kinda impolite, the way of talking so impatient. The room looks decent but a bit dusty on the floor. If you have more budget you have other choices.

After multiple and tiring follow-ups with makemytrip for more than a week, I was able to remove the review hotel had unethically posted. I will reiterate that please do not fall for the high rating. This is a scam.

Please be aware of booking this hotel on makemytrip. I had a below average stay here, but somehow, this hotel managed to post a 5 star review on my name. There are many such fake reviews being posted, and that's how they are showing high rating. Makemytrip won't help you much in such cases immediately because of their policies, which are not user-friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of security concerns as well as unpleasant stay.
