The best. Only the rooftop bar staff could improve their knowledge of wine perhaps, as it’s a quite good bar, but otherwise the hotel is impeccable. Showerhead could be improved.

Located next to Kaohsiung metro station (exit. 6), easy got to main attractions and airport. We liked the stylish design of the hotel, spacious and comfortable room.
The rooftop bar was plus, we had the chilled time during our stay.

The hotel itself was fine and the location was great. Unfortunately the most basic expectations were not met; the wifi in the room was completely unusable.

- I noted it to front desk after checking. On return from dinner there was a letter noting repair was complete. WiFi still unable to load basic email and google searches. Noted to front desk again.
- the next day the staff came twice to confirm the issue and repaired again. An hour later the issue recurs.
- I ended up connecting to the wifi from room next-door, which was a stable connection, except when they leave their room, it shuts down.
- the next day on checkout the manager noted that he was aware of my situation, and apologizes but they made every effort to remedy it. I noted that it wasn’t the effort that mattered, but the end result was the issue.

Throughout the process all communication from the hotel was reactive, and frankly useless. There was no offer to exchange the room, compensate with a drink coupon, or whatever. Hopefully management realizes the futility of efforts, and improves their service. Until then I don’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Not too bad, but there are some areas of improvement.
Firstly, the lift is very slow. So we ended up waiting long times to get up and down, particularly at breakfast times.
Secondly, the hot water was also a hit and miss. You had to wait for a long time for it to reach the higher floors.  Sometimes, we ended up showering with cold water.
Thirdly, the breakfast buffet was good, amazing selection, however, the waitresses were quite rude. Just before the closing time of the buffet, they would take your plate off your table, without asking if you had finished. They were trying to rush you into leaving, although there were 10-15 minutes left until the closing time of the buffet.

Hotel is at great location, service is good and breakfast has good variety and taste good too! However one major downside is the entire hotel vibe and decoration are all in black and causing all very dim surroundings and atmosphere. Had to turn on torchlight in the room when I want to find something as the lights are not bright enough. Black paint, dark furniture, dim light, all these will create bad spirits. Would be better if can be much much more brighter.
