Exceptional hotel. Even though we arrived at around 6am, we were so pleasantly surprised to hear that our room was ready. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and we appreciated their excellence service. The room was clean, big and modern. Bathroom was fantastic too. Walk in shower was spacious, counter had plenty of space too. I also appreciated the mirror in the bathroom had a section that wouldn't steam up - very convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Location of the hotel is very convenient and it's connected to the Sky tower. Overall a wonderful stay, thank you!

I'll start with the initial greating. Very friendly welcoming us into the hotel. Finding the entrance requires some struggle but was not to bad. We were checked-in in minutes and settled in not too long after. Thank you also for the extra early check-in at 8am. Feedback about the room, bathroom is slightly smaller and room is too small for 2 beds. Breakfast is not bad and welcoming staff. Also, $35NZ per night per entry/exit for parking is a bit too much considering expensive cost of stay. All in all, a decent stay at the Horizon hotel by SkyCity.

The overall experience was fabulous! We has stayed there on Saturday and from the beginning the concierge was very paying attention to all the customer and offered a bottle of water. Han from reception was very lovely and made our stay very special. We have stayed several places but the room was super clean and nothing to be compared. The restaurant team was very nice and also paying attention to all the customers. When we finish our plates they offer to take the plates. My boyfriend booked the restaurant and hotel and proposed me in the room. The stay really made our special day extra special! We will definitely come back!

We’ve stayed six nights in total. And “Horizon “ is the best hotel during this trip (23 days). Every staff is so friendly and nice. Room decor is so good and neat. The light control panels are the best part. The shower is too good and the drain hole of the sink is very unobstructed. There are still a lot good details awaiting you to explore. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is unbeatable — everything we needed was just a short walk away. While the hotel doesn’t offer much of a view, the convenience and overall experience more than made up for it. I’d definitely come back and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
