I had a great stay at Kaohsiung Holiday Inn Express hotel. Staff was very courteous, room are spacious and clean. Only downside was the walls were very slim, you could hear conversations in the room next door, but I wasn’t too bothered by it. The location of the hotel is amazing, close to the river, the heart of the town and very easy MRT access. The breakfast buffet was good with an important choice. I would recommend this hotel for your next stay in Kaohsiung.

The room was nice and clean. They also have self-service laundry in the basement. The breakfast bar was quite impressive. Usually in the US, we only get the eggs, bacon and sausage type of continental breakfast. But in Taiwan, you get a whole lot more . There is porridge with tapas to go with, a noodle station where you can make your own soup or dry noodles and add-ons. The breakfast area was also clean and well maintained. We got a table by the window and got to enjoy seeing the elementary kids going to school ? There is also a coffee bar near the entrance. The price point isn't too low and honestly is comparable to that of US holiday Inn, but you get a bit extra. It's a nice hotel and a pleasant stay. There wasn't a lot of night time activity close by, so just FYI, we walked closer to the MRT station to find some snacks. By the way, I took one star off as there was no gym here, so for anyone wanting to workout (if after walking all day in the art district, you still need to lift some weights), you would be disappointed.

Very impressed, to be welcomed well, all the facilities are complete. Drinks and food performed better than expected. The bar for guests in the lobby is interesting. The staff are very polite and helpful. There is a chance to go back to use the service again. Thank you for the good welcome.
