Cleaning under the beds could be improved. Everything else was good. Very decent breakfast.

Location is so-so since it's far from the touristy area but great if you want a quiet place that overlooks the sea. Rooms are okay as well. Only problem is the CR doesn't have a divider between the shower and the rest of the CR and there's no bidet. Owner was awesome as hell tho very nice guy. Speaks good English and even offered to drop us off at our destination when he was on his way home.

I put 4 for the location because most will want to be very close to downtown, whereas this is about a 20-min walk. However, for me and those who want the museums, including the new and impressive Arario buildings (3 with powerful work) and the National, this was fine. The price is unbeatable, or close to it, and the staff were extremely helpful: of the 3 days I was there, 4 of the 5 spoke excellent or very good English, and one was very happy to use Google Translate. Breakfast is basic, but passable (and only about $5 US). Everything worked and was clean. Cab from the airport was about $7.50-$8, given conversion rate.
