The hotel is nicely hidden from the huzz and buzz of Old Quarter. Location is great, room is too, breakfast is delicious. If it’s your first time in Hanoi, I recommend to stay in this area, it is not noisy at all, and when you are done with the hectic (and constant honking) in this area, you can find some place is Central Hanoi for some peace. It’s less than 15 mins walk to the Night Market (open every weekend) and a lot of places to eat and shop. Shoutout to Ling and Vyvian, those two are amazing and provide excellent service.

Stayed here for a few nights prior to the Ha Giang loop. Staff were super helpful, letting us keep our bags behind the desk as we arrived too early for check in. Rooms were clean, with good working aircon and comfy beds and pillows. Laundry service was quick. Breakfast was pretty good for something to fill you up until lunch. Nothing to complain about, definitely recommend.

Excellent boutique hotel. Great location. Quiet, yet minutes away from central Old Quarter. The staff made my stay in Hanoi. They were helpful, friendly, spoke perfect English. *Staff personally drove me on her scooter to the other side of town to dispute a credit card charge with another business! Always happy to provide recommended price points on local goods. They can schedule out of town trips to Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Sapa. I initially booked three days, then decided to stay the remainder of my two weeks in Hanoi at the Marigold. I will always stay there when visiting Hanoi.

Loved our stay at Marigold Hotel! The location is in a quiet, safe alley but still close enough to walk to the Old Quarter. The staff were super helpful and friendly—they gave us great tips on food, sightseeing, and massages. Our room was bright, spacious, and the aircon was a lifesaver during Hanoi’s heatwave. Breakfast was simple but good, and at night the alley turns into a fun local BBQ spot with affordable food. Would definitely stay here again!

We are very happy with this hotel, especially well priced for its location. Situated in a quiet alleyway, close to Đồng Xuân market and Hanoi old quarter. Our room was spacious with great water pressure and air conditioning for this Hanoi Summer. I would stay here again when we are returning to Hanoi after going to Ha Giang.
