Great for low maintenance travelers and those prioritizing location and budget. Rooms are good and the ac worked great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived late in the night, and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. No elevator and we were on the 4th floor which wasn’t an issue for us but something to consider.

This review is for the cafe downstairs of the hostel as I didn’t stay at this place. I had the avocado and banana smoothie (35k) here a few times and it was pretty good. Fresh local avocados and bananas and it wasn’t too sweet as well. It’s such a good price compared to many other cafes and places that go for 50k and up. They have local coffees, other drinks and different smoothies too. Recommended.

I enjoyed my stay here! The rooms are nice and bathroom in the room is very clean. I did have a lot of fruit fly looking bugs in my bunk but otherwise things were good! The breakfast in the morning was really good, just double check you get it included with your booking.

My friend and I had a great stay in Lucky Hostel. Very clean and nice rooms. The owner is lovely, and very helpful. Great for backpackers, as you can book last minute. Would highly recommend 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Lucky Hostel 2! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and great value for money. What really stood out was the exceptional service, especially from James, one of the friendliest and most helpful staff members I’ve met during my travels. James went out of his way to assist with arranging tickets and Ha Long Bay package, and helped to make my stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a hassle-free, welcoming stay in Hanoi. Thanks again to the team—especially James—for the great hospitality!
