A good hostel to stay. We are married couple and this was our 1st hostel experience in life. It was good. We are gujarati Indians and was confused and choosed it after a long reviews and filter. Its good with location at the centre walking for beer street and all local places for old quater. We also booked Sapa, Ninh Bhin and HalongBay from them and trust me guys they gave the best rates. Everything outside for Sapa, Halong Bay and Ninh bhinh was so smooth. Breakfast options are limited if you are vegetarian like us as mostly you have eat bread, salad, fruits, milk and potato fries. The atmosphere, daily free beer 7pm and daily free walking tour at sharp 10 am was nice.

Stayed in their dorm for a couple of nights. This place is located at a relatively quiet place in a rather loud street. I had initially booked a bigger dorm, however, on the name of "upgrading", they moved me to a 6-member dorm. Don't really know if moving from a bigger dorm to a 6-member dorm was an "upgrade" or their way of putting all people from the same country in the same room. Nevertheless, it was clean and comfortable, so would not complain. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned twice a day. I refrained from their free beer and free walking tour. I instead chose to tour around the spots myself with the help of online audio-guides. The breakfast is excellent and is a steal for the price. One could also get a towel for a deposit of 100k VND, which is returned swiftly when checking out. Although is hostel is always busy and bustling, the staffs are courteous and quick to respond to all requests.

Amazing location!!! The people and the service are truly great!!! You can go in at any hour—there’s always a guy there, sleeping and waking up every time you come in! Everything is within a 20-minute walk. Very clean rooms, and you can get fresh bed sheets every day. Top hostel with an amazing breakfast! Couldn’t recommend it more! And don’t miss the awesome beer pong tournament with pub crawl!

Good hostel with a reasonable price. You can get a towel for a deposit of 100k. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The hostel offers a free walking tour, Luna was our guide, she was very kind and funny, very knowledgeable and showed us the some of the history of Hanoi. I’m glad we had this tour and her as a guide.

Had an amazing time at Buffalo Hostel! The team there were super great and very hospitable! The private room we had requested fit for purpose, clean and tidy and room cleaned on request! Spacious for the amount of people staying and good amount of food included for breakfast, not to mention their free beer during happy hour! A great social place and had an amazing time! Thanks again, and a special mention of Hana, who was super friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to do in the local area!
