We were very happy with our stay. Very close to DLR and the airport. Rooms were quiet, comfy and we had a very good sleep. The breakfast had a good variety of options and the staff was extremely helpful especially Paula and Teresa. They were always with a smile to greet you in the morning and assist you with anything you need. A credit to the team. Thank you xx
The room was nice and quiet , the facilities were good and breakfast was tasty. TV remote didn't have any batteries so was a bit of a headache getting the tv going. The parking was £15 It would be nice if this was included in the price of the room. The reception team was nice and helpful I would recommend the hotel if visiting this area of London.
We had a night here for a weekend break. Family of 3. Small yet tidy room. The room isn't like "wow", but for the price it's decent and it did the job. Provided a good place to rest at the end of the day. Quiet too. Turned up late. Pleasant greeting. Happy to give our child a glass of milk, which made us feel really welcome. Easy access to transport. We got a replacement service to the close by DLR Station. Sunday morning we had a great feast at the breakfast bar. Fueled up well to start the day.
Great views especially if you have a corner room and really modern rooms for the price/expectation. 5 minute walk to DLR with very regular service. Breakfast area could and should be larger and less chaotic.
Hotel room was clean and well presented. Easy to check in. Room was quiet, considering that it is right next to a road. Room was clean, double bed, seating, desk, hairdryer, TV, tea & coffee with a kettle. Bathroom was level access, with a door that slid open. The bathroom door doubled up as a wardrobe door, with an iron and ironing board available. Breakfast in the morning, either hot or continental buffet - or mix and match - no limit to what you could have. This was the only area that let them down somewhat. I like fruit and granola/myself for breakfast, but I had to ask whether there were nuts in them (not labelled). All had nuts in, so i just had toast and a banana! Overall, a good place to stay about a 5-8 minute walk to the Excel centre.
