Great hotel with amazing staff at a great location. Hotel is not located too far from the cebter of the old quarter so the noise levels go down a good bit but if you are a light sleeper I might still suggest some earplugs just in case you get a street facing room. Breakfast is great every morning and the staff are gems and were extremely helpfull. A special shoutout to Cherry and especially Derek who mostly works at night. Derek was great and was super kind! We had some great chats and he made the stay even better, give him a shout if you happen to be staying there! Overall great experience, and no immediate complaints that come to mind

We loved our stay at Hai Bay Hotel. The night staff wasn't the most resourceful, but still very polite and courteous. The day staff was much more helpful and made our stay in Hanoi hassle-free. It's a great budget hotel, but I'd say the breakfast is very sad, not just for Indians but for everyone. Very limited options. Great location. Clean rooms but small. Helpful staff.

I stayed at Haibay Hotel for 4 nights. Although I’ve visited Hanoi several times, this hotel will remain the most memorable. As many have mentioned, the location is excellent — I never felt unsafe even when walking around late at night. There are so many local restaurants and shops nearby, yet once inside the hotel, it’s completely quiet and peaceful. What truly made this stay special were the front desk staff, Cherry and Jimmy. They were always kind, smiling, and incredibly helpful, no matter what kind of problem we faced. I'm deeply grateful for their hospitality. My father, who traveled with me, said he had never encountered such friendly hotel staff before. Whether it was stopping traffic so we could safely get into a taxi, checking our room immediately when we mentioned the fridge wasn’t cold enough, or informing us in advance when our tour bus was running late — they went above and beyond in every situation. They are truly the best hoteliers we’ve ever met. I’ll definitely come back again

I had a wonderful stay at Hai Bay Hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making my time there incredibly relaxing. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything I needed during my visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the free welcome drink, a small but thoughtful gesture that set a warm tone from the start. The breakfast was also excellent, with a variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. But what truly stood out was the amazing dishes prepared by Chef Rully. It was one of the best meals I’ve had on my trip. Chef Rully’s attention to flavor and presentation made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend Hai Bay Hotel for both comfort and great hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay at Hai Bay Hotel! The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially Jimmy, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. All of our requests were promptly taken care of. I really appreciated the option to request a takeaway breakfast for early departures at no additional cost. The only downside was a slight odor in the room when we arrived, but I quickly got used to it and it didn’t affect our overall experience. The hotel’s location is perfect. It's just a short walk to the lake and many must-try restaurants and cafes. If I return to Hanoi, I’ll definitely stay here again!
