One-night stay at H2O. Booked the Autumn Crab for two which includes a dinner of outstanding seafood at the Chinese restaurant, 15% off weekend HSR tickets, and free shuttle. 1.the shuttle service Perfect!! 2.the room The room is clean and neat. The bed sheet is comfy. WiFi connection is good and easy to access. 3.the dinner There are crabs, lobsters, clams and all kinds of veggie, all of which are fresh and delectable. 4.the breakfast Never had a thought to have steak for breakfast. Here you can have steak, scallop congee, and laksa(? Sorry I’m not sure about it) all at once. 5.the service In general, they’re nice and polite. Great service.

I stayed at the H2O Hotel in Kaohsiung for two days, and I must say the high-speed rail shuttle service was excellent—very punctual and efficient. The bed was super comfortable, and I had breakfast on the 20th floor. The main dishes were quite delicious, and the staff were attentive, frequently clearing empty plates. However, for guests staying more than two days, the breakfast options might feel a bit repetitive. It would be even better if there were more variety. As for the downsides, there are two main issues: First, one of the lobby staff members was quite unresponsive when I went to retrieve my stored luggage, and didn’t even say “you’re welcome” when I thanked them. Second, the bathroom’s wet and dry separation seal was obviously worn out, which caused water to leak during showers and slightly affected the experience. On the bright side, the receptionist on the 20th floor was amazing! She was full of smiles, very friendly, and fluent in both English and Japanese. When I accidentally left something in my room, she kindly helped me find it. Additionally, the rooftop bar had a great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The cocktails were above average for a hotel bar, and you could tell the bartender put a lot of effort into their craft. It wasn’t just about the drinks—it was also about enjoying the delightful ambiance. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay!

Our stay at this incredible hotel exceeded all expectations, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making my birthday truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Linda at the reception—her kindness and professionalism set the tone for an exceptional stay. The hotel went above and beyond to help my friend create a beautiful surprise in our room. They arranged heartfelt decorations, a personalized card, and even displayed a special birthday message on the TV. It was touching and completely unexpected—such attention to detail made the moment incredibly special. The rooftop was another highlight—absolutely breathtaking and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Though it was technically against policy, the manager graciously allowed us to play a few songs in honor of my birthday, which made the celebration even more meaningful. What impressed us even further was the thoughtful gesture of the staff in cleaning up all the birthday decorations afterward. It was a level of care and service that truly went beyond what’s typically offered. Thanks to the exceptional service, warmth, and attention we received, this was genuinely one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel—especially Linda—for making it so memorable!

Convenient location near Hanshin Arena. There a beautiful pool on the rooftop with a bar. Gym is small but has all the essentials. The rooms are cozy with a tub. The breakfast buffet is a must get. The abalone porridge is to die for. Prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend.
