The hotel was clean, comfortable and perfect for the price. Near the metro so really convenient. Not the best sectors to stay in Paris but definitely if you’re trying to save some money this hotel was perfect for the price.

This was my first visit to Paris and I was frightened by the fact that the hotel has NO ELEVATOR, I just checking the reviews after I made my payment and cant cancel

I was actually allocated the room in 6th floor but then with a little nudge the monsieur at the reception desk give us upgrade to room in 2nd floor with private bathroom (my original room was with shared bathroom).

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. On our first night, we saw the nightly rate had dropped by 50%. We immediately contacted Booking.com, who acknowledged the situation and sent a formal email to the hotel to approve the cancellation of the remaining nights.
The hotel responded with, “We don’t understand the email; someone else will handle it in the morning,” clearly stalling for time. The next day, they rejected the cancellation without any valid explanation, claiming it was “too late.”
Let’s be clear: we were misled. The hotel deliberately avoided confirming the email in time. Booking.com handled everything transparently and was extremely supportive.
Sadly, the hotel management was anything but honest. Their actions were deceptive and aimed at preventing us from benefiting from the price change.
I’m writing this review so others don’t go through the same unfair experience.

The room was dirty, the private bathroom was so tight and tiny that you could not even open the door to the shower without banging it against the sink, while the shared toilets are not equipped with a sink to wash your hands. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom as well.
The room was not made on 2 out of 4 days - no new towels, no small towels at all, and not even new toilet paper. the was a damage in the shower as well which was never fixed, the trash bin was not emptied. There is no closet, no safe, no hairdryer, only one working light (the other one was broken). The staff was friendly but of no help at all with any of the aforementioned issues. The pictures online are very misleading. The location is pretty much the ONLY positive thing to mention. Do yourself a favor and find a better place which does not necessarily cost more.

As for a district the hotel is very cute and well holded. Very nice and responsive receptionists ?
The cat ?? The room for one was really small but well equipped and nicely decorated
Would be nice to have there curtains to make it more cosy. Also common area and common bathrooms in a very good condition, neat and clean. From the minuses:
-no elevator ( and there are 6 floors
-cardboard walls. Every move every noise from each neighbor. Especially « great » when it is no bathroom room and you hear everyone keep visiting common bathroom slamming all the doors on the floor till like 2 am
-no every day cleaning. to clean a garbage can every day would be nice
-cattle only on the first floor
