Its a value for money 3star place, close to ksl.. Rooms are good with hot showers n clean generally. It faces a carpark and occasionally noisy.. I shut the blinds fully and it was fine. Exceeded expectations for what i have paid. Feel quite safe as a solo traveler. The lobby n lift look quite undermining but the corridors were brightly lit.

Cleanliness must be improved regardless the cheap price of the room. Trash left by the last guest is not disposed and the bed sheets & blankets are stained. We informed the receptionist and they asked for picture. I don’t know why this hotel got more than 4 star rating in google.

Was really worried when I heard that Glex hotel had inconsistent reviews so I had to check it out for myself. Do take note they take deposit of 100RM upfront due to the non smoking policy.

The room was surprisingly spacious and I really liked it. They also provided toiletries and standard hotel refreshments. Internet connection was speedy and the air conditioning was cool too, need some time for the air to turn cold. The bed was between soft and hard, so it was generally comfortable.

The decor is quite tasteful and the lighting was ok. Of course facing us was the carpark. Not an issue. Yes there are signs of wear and tear found around the room, like the wall paper and the bathroom blinds. Cleanliness wise there were occasional clumps of hair found. The towels were slightly aged and not thick, they're ok. Had to collect toilet paper from reception if needed. They had ample of hangers and a hair dryer is provided.

Funny thing though, the fire alarm went off at 5am in the morning... False alarm... not sure if its a recurring issue. It was pretty quiet room to room, so we had no issues sleeping.

You can find the common iron at every lift lobby. Useful.

Location wise there were mini marts and eateries right behind the hotel (10m). But we're not so sure about the reliability of these eateries. It's about 5RM to grab to KSL so the location is not bad, lots of food options.

Overall I feel it's an above average for the price paid since it's a 3 star hotel. A really, no frills stay!

Booked the Junior Suite for 4 pax at a good deal. Big room, 2 big beds, a sofa bed, a small dining table, working aircon and most importantly, hot shower available. The disadvantages are however: wifi is horrible, tv keeps losing its signal, windows are dirty, iron boards are placed outside to be shared with many others, hotel not easily accessible unless u have your own transport. Overall, still not too bad as it was cheap.

Room was spacious but was not well maintained. Stained bedsheets and sofa bed. Towels were worn and grey. Bathroom was moldy and grimy. A mosquito was in the room too! Room were not soundproof as we heard 'couple noises' when walking through the corridor. Carpark on level 5, reception at level 2. The walk from the carpark to the lift lobby was dark and dingy.
Checked in at 7pm but decided to check out 3-4 hours later as we found it was unsuitable to us and our young children.
If on tiny budget or veryyy desperate, you can consider this hotel. If not, just find somewhere else to stay.
