Giriwood is a perfect getaway for those who love peace and nature. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights is the hot swimming pool, which is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I want to give a special mention to Dion from the F&B service for his excellent hospitality. But the best part? The bed and pillows! They are unbelievably comfortable—I slept like a baby. Highly recommend this place for a restful and refreshing stay!

Highly recommend! Beautifully designed property immersed in nature, with stunning rooms, incredible views, and attentive staff. We enjoyed a short jungle trek through the organically planned grounds. The food was delicious, thanks to an excellent chef. Rooms could use better insulation—we had a huge flying bug visit one night. A bike or car is helpful, though the free shuttle to nearby waterfalls and Ulun Danu temple is a great bonus. An unforgettable stay in peaceful Munduk—I’d gladly return.

A wonderful hotel in the mountains. Stunning views from our villa and the dining room. Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful, keen to make us feel at home. Free shuttles to waterfalls and lakeside temple and gardens. Excellent food in the restaurant, particularly recommend the tenderloin, beef in black pepper sauce and chocolate lava cake- all absolutely delicious, though service is slow at times.The grounds are beautiful too, full of plants and there is a jungle track as well as a pool table and table tennis plus the heated pool itself. I thoroughly thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Made a last minute booking to stay two nights in one of the villas. We had an absolutely incredible stay- one of our favourite places we've ever stayed! The villa was absolutely gorgeous and the view on the balcony was stunning. Complete peace and quiet here. I would travel just to stay at this hotel again. Only improvement I could recommend would be more vegetarian options on the dinner/lunch menu e.g. tofu Tempe curry type dishes. Staff were wonderful.

Fabulous hotel in the middle of the forest and jungle. Finally the hotel that is build using solid construction standards in Bali !!! We stayed in the bungalow and it was stunning. The bungalow itself is very well built and taken care of, and offers 5 star hotel room service. The towels are pristine, new fluffy white that are changed every day. The dressing is beautiful and patio doors allow to enjoy the view not only from the balcony from the inside as well. It's well isolated and even though there are some nature sounds with ear plugs you can sleep very peaceful on very comfy bedding. The restaurant is great both for breakfast and dinner. Even at breakfast you can choose from the menu. The view from thr restaurant is lovely : the forest, the jungle and the shore. The pool is heated and allows to enjoy it even during bad weather. Staff is very very nice, and are always there for you. There is also a shuttle 3 times a day to bring you either to the temple or waterfalls. They also have contacts for laundry (very cheap and fast, picked up and brought to you by scooter) and local drivers. It was fabulous, i would likely recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area!
