We came back here 3 times during our stay in Northern Vietnam. The hotel itself is a bit out of the city so it's quiet but an easy Grab ride into Old Town. The beds are the comfiest I've slept on at a hotel, the bathroom was spotless and plenty of hot water. We found the staff to be lovely and welcoming. The windows were open in the rooms with the stairwell backing them, because guests didn't know they were open you could hear the PRIVATE things going on in their rooms echoing in the stairwell, if you catch my drift..... maybe leave the curtain open so guests can close the window

My stay in Hanoi has been interesting, but the highlight of my 19 days here has been the Gallant hotel staff, this hotel may be rated as a 4 star , but it should be rated at 5 star , the staff here are the most amazing and helpful staff I have ever encountered especially the reception desk employees ☺️

Staffs are extra friendly. Rooms are clean and nice. You will hear other rooms in bathroom (only) though. That was tolerable for us, since the staffs were extra nice, and also great rooms for such a cheap price. Would still go again if we ever have a chance.
