Hong Kong, Lantau Island大屿山东涌怡东路9号 Tung Chung, Lantau Island
I stayed the night between flights, and the room was perfect - bed was very comfortable, amenities great. Staff were AMAZING - very committed to assisting you efficiently and courteously. The shuttle service to/from the airport is good, but honestly should be half-hourly. I arrived at the bus stop 2 minutes after the scheduled departure time, so I had to wait an hour, standing outside in the car park (there is a roof to shelter from rain). Luckily I had a book, so I I passed the time OK. The bus from the airport and back to the airport the next day were absolutely packed, and it was a struggle to get everyone's luggage in. And of course when arriving at the hotel, a whole bus-load pours out to check-in, sol that's another half-hour! So these are other reasons they should really have half-hourly shuttles.
Stayed here last minute because of the storm back in July. Less than 10mins away from the airport and there are free coaches from and to the airport every hour which is very convenient. I would also comment that the staff/receptionists were very friendly and speaks English very fluently which helped me alot! The room I had was very nice, very dated and modern. They also have water stations! There is also a 7eleven across the hotel. Really enjoyed staying in this hotel even just for one night!
We were greeted with open doors when we arrived at the hotel. Bellmen was very helpful and informative, provided us with severe weather warnings updates, assisted with luggage delivery to our rooms. The rooms are clean and tidy. They have warm atmosphere with comfortable layout. The breakfast was excellent with delicious food variety. I highly recommend others to consider this hotel.
Stayed here twice, latest occasion was for business. Situated very close to Tung Chung town centre and the hotel offers 2 shuttle services between HKIA and the hotel, the other between Tung Chung town centre and the hotel. Bus time tables are available at the front reception desk on the iPads. As for the stay, I stayed in the standard room which is generally on the smaller side but fine for a single person. 2 people will be a bit of squeeze. Hotel is modern and the room stocks the usual amenities such as toothbrush, cotton buds, shampoo and shower gel, hairdryer. Walk-in shower room with door so the bathroom doesn’t get entirely wet. Staff are helpful as the room’s curtain had come off slightly in the corner which meant the sunlight shone through; reported it and they fixed it for me that day. There is no fitness centre but guests of the Four Points can use the one next door in the Sheraton at a charge. Highly recommend and will stay again.
I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton near Hong Kong Airport and was genuinely impressed by the staff's dedication across all departments - reception, housekeeping, restaurant, and especially the bar team. When Typhoon Ragasa left many guests stranded, they extended their hours and went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and entertained. That kind of service really stands out. Location & Value The location is perfect for Asia World Expo or airport connections, and the value for money is hard to beat given the facilities. Having stayed primarily at Marriott properties for over a decade, I was surprised by how good the service was at this price point. Room for Improvement The sound insulation between rooms needs work - disappointing for a newer hotel. The lighting design throughout is also problematic, with harsh spotlights in awkward positions that make simple tasks like shaving difficult and create an uncomfortable dining atmosphere. Food & Overall The buffet offers good variety initially but becomes repetitive after a few days. The burgers are excellent though. Despite the room and lighting issues, the exceptional staff service and great value make this a solid choice for the area.
