Cannot recommend this place enough. In a very well located part of Fitzroy, a tram stop outside, and 10 mins away from the main Fitzroy road. The stay was very well accommodated by Alan, Byron and the team. My two friends and myself stayed here for about a week, we stayed in the quadruple family room which between us worked out cheaper than staying in a hostel dorm. The room was very clean with its own private balcony. The beds were extremely comfy, and the other house amenities were clean and perfect. Good job guys !

The staff were absolutely lovely and the $15 laundry service was great. A large load washed, dried and folded. The mattresses were really comfortable and the room was clean. Very close to Melbourne CBD - and a lot of nice places to eat around the place as well as an equipped kitchen and nice common eating area if you want to eat in. The street noise was a touch loud overnight so if you're a light sleeper some ear plugs are worthwhile. Definitely would recommend this spot ?

Really friendly place. Great with kids. Even wheelchair accessible ( if you can do 1 small 1/2 step.) Shower accessible. Fun activities like pool and ping pong. Great mix of old and new, very groovy. Great location. We are going to come back.

Stayed here for 9 days. Allan was an absolute legend. Place was clean, safe, and quiet. Great value and a great place to stay if you just need a place to put your head down and night while you explore the CBD and greater Melbourne. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful experience at the Nicholson Street Homestay in Melbourne. I had a private room which was cosy and warm even during winter. Al and the staff were very accomodating and were great at checking in during the stay. This is a great location which is a stone’s throw from the inner city, parks, shops and restaurants. There is also a tram station right out the front. Upon checkout, the staff were also kind enough to allow me to store my luggage in the shared space, which is monitored by security cameras. This allowed me to explore Melbourne city a little more before going to the airport. Thanks again team, I will be back! 10/10
