I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Family Tree Hotel in Krabi, and it was a truly delightful experience. This quaint bed-and-breakfast is located above a cozy cafe (sharing an entrance), which gives it a warm and welcoming vibe right from the start. The service was outstanding—the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, offering thoughtful touches that really enhanced our stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary cookies and the hand grinder coffee sets provided in each room. It’s clear they want guests to feel relaxed and pampered. Every evening, they would leave a fresh pastry and a bottle of milk outside our room—a small gesture that added a touch of charm and made the experience feel unique and personal. To top things off, they include a generous breakfast voucher which can be redeemed at the cafe on the ground floor up to 4pm. The hotel was also very accommodating with our late checkout request, which left us thoroughly impressed. With this much character, the overall ambiance, coupled with the impeccable service, it made this a truly memorable stay. I’d highly recommend the Family Tree Hotel to anyone visiting Krabi who’s looking for a cozy, personal, and relaxing experience.

This is a quaint, cute hotel that we absolutely loved. Its above the Much & Mellow cafe and you have to go through the cafe to get to the hotel floor but the rooms are quite nice and well layed out. The service was top notch, and everything felt very personal - esp. the coffee grinder and complementary cookies. The location of the hotel is superb as well. Lots of cafes, pubs nearby and the Krabi night market is also just a few hundred meters away. While the breakfast isn't a buffet, you get a voucher that you can redeem at the cafe and the portion sizes of the meal, drink and dessert are more than enough to make up for it. Just one suggestion - if they could have a lift somewhere, that could really help with moving luggage - although the staff can do it for you, it just doesn't feel right to make someone else do it as well. ? Would 100% recommend staying here. :)

I was on a 15 day trip in Thailand, The family tree hotel was my favorite hotel by far ! The way to the hotel is by walking into Much & Mellow cafe , the hotel is a family run business, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is specious, bright and clean, stocked with everything you need ( robes/kimonos, hair drier, towels) the mini bar is everything you need from coffee making( drip coffee with grinder & coffee beans ) beside three type of cookies baked by Bubu, there also soft drink and juice free I would also like to highlight their complementary every night they leave a bakery or cake from downstair cafe ( Much & Mello ) the bathroom have organic shampoo, condition & body gel with coconut smell, it was so refreshing. The bed is huge and so comfy. One day I met the owner. I believe her name is (May), she was kind when I was about to leave the hotel, she gave me beans candy, it was so delicious. In the room you will find a guidebook about the story of the hotel, it was so inspiring it is like I am a part of their family. In the guidebook you will also find day trips can be arranged by the hotel staff with reasonable prices. The location of the hotel is near to Krabi night market, and few shops. Heads up, the hotel does not have an elevator, so keep in mind if you have too much luggage or mobility issues. I would suggest if they have a special discount for the hotel guest, it can be used in the downstairs cafe.

Very nice and clean hotel with a big room and a comfy bed. You will get a small cake as welcome present which was very lovely. Also, you can make your own coffee in your room. WiFi was fast. Check in between 14:00 and 22:00. Friendly and helpful staff. Staff help you with the luggage since there is no elevator.
