Everything is good about this place except the location. Hotel and the surrounding places have everything necessary and more than that. Location is the only drawback. The 24 hour haram shuttle is a cheap trap by the management. See the photos to know for yourself. Taxi to haram doesn't get less than 25 riyal and getting back could be any amount and delayed too depending on the time.

I left a comprehensive review on Hotels.com with photos. Overall this is a solid hotel for anyone looking for a cost effective place to stay in Mecca. Its very basic amenities such as bed, AC, TV, Bathroom, towels and waterbottles. For the price this is very good!!! Overall I love this hotel. Really good for the price. I HOPE THE OWNWER CONTINUES TO KEEP THE ECONOMICAL PRICES!!! I secured a room for $25 CAD a night. There is a mall across the street and near by which have very good local prices. So you won't get scammed. They provide a shuttle service that has inconsistent time, and does not depart on time. The driver takes you to a terminal where you gotta take another Yellow bus to the Haram. The hotel says "yes a shuttle bus is available", but at the cost of your time. The shuttle bus took me 45 minutes with the transfer and the driver taking forever to leave on time. Also ZERO clue on where from the Haram I have to take the Shuttle. The Hotel desk said I have to arrange with driver??? JUST PROVIDE A PICK UP AND DROP OFF LOCATION!!! 1) I believe the hotel needs to make a more consistent hourly shuttle service. Like I don't understand why there is a bus at 4:45 AM, and then again a 930 AM? Why isn't there hourly service. 2) There needs to mapped out locations on the pick up/drop off locations at the Haram, and proper instructions provided to guests on how to take the bus. (Perhaps use Google maps to pin point locations). There needs to be set pick up and drop off and CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO TAKE THE BUS BACK TO THE HOTEL. Because there was no set instructions, we had to take a taxi back to the hotel. 3) Because the shuttle bus takes longer, and transfer over to the Haram buses (it adds time), so this means you risk arriving late for a prayer. It was more advisable to take a TAXI. ALSO due to the nature of the road systems around the Haram. If you are taking a taxi from the Haram To the Hotel. Take the taxi from behind the clock tower. We made the mistake of taking a TAXI from Jabal Omar Gates and roads were all closed that day, so we ended up driving across town just to get to the hotel. The taxi driver advised us to take a taxi around the clock tower behind Washroom Number 3. If you can go further behind the clock tower the cost of taxi will be cheaper (35 Riyal).
