I stayed in this hotel for four days to attend a conference. This is really an awesome hotel just near Fudan University, Shanghai, China. The rooms are spacious, specially the bathroom is excellent. The Internet was free, however, I feel the minibar is a bit expensive here. The staffs are really helpful. Overall, it was a great experience to stay in the hotel.

The staff are amazing and really saved me when I left my bag in the taxi. Basically everything that could go wrong that night did. I got in super jet lagged for work and my passport and laptop were in the bag. It was midnight and my international number made it basically impossible to contact the driver directly. The manager Hubert Li was super attentive and jumped into action when he found out. It took almost 40m to find the driver and get my stuff back. Really couldn’t have done it without him. Oh yeah, the hotel and the breakfast was great too!

Room and facilities are quite new and well maintained, but dining service could be better

I would like to give my compliments to all the staff in Crowne Plaza Fudan for all the help they have rendered during my stay in the hotel. As a breastfeeding mom who was away from my baby for a work trip, I had to store my breastmilk in the freezer during my two-week stay in the hotel. The staff at the concierge truly went above and beyond to help me store all my breastmilk in the freezer, allowing me to bring them back to my country at the end of my stay in excellent condition. The moment they saw me bring the milk down to the concierge, they knew exactly what to do and would help me with a smile. The cleaning staff were also very professional and helped to make the room and even did turn down service every night. Very attentive to details and impeccable service standards. It was a nice place for few days stay. Slightly off from Nanjing road which is actually city centre but well connected by metro and other means. For vegetarians they can prepare Pizzas and Pasta along with fries and spring rolls. They also have good beer options. Staff is really helpful and take care of your travel arrangements. I admired the guy who made sure that we take correct transport and communication was done for clarity with drivers. Rooms were comfortable and spacious with all amenities. Highly recommended
