Overall a pretty good choice for Beijing. The rooms are modern and large, and some rooms even have a bathroom and bathtub overlooking Beijing. The bistro style restaurant in the lobby had a good selection and friendly English speaking staff. The reception staff were eager to help as well The surrounding area is quite interesting and likewise has a number of eating options. One downside, one of our two rooms seemed to have a bit of dust which suggests it was empty for a while, and the Aircon didn't work.

Located just a few kilometers from the city center, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread has plenty of options to choose from. The only downside was the difficulty in getting cabs during peak hours. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying here.

I want to specifically acknowledge and thank Leo Lee (Guest Service Manager) of Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido. I stayed 3 nights in February 2025. On check-out, Leo overheard that his colleague had a problem getting an airport taxi for me. Sensing an urgency, Leo swiftly intervened to offer his assistance. I’m not conversant in Chinese but Leo was good in English. Upon getting a taxi, I realised that I left my winter jacket in the hotel room. Leo calmly reassured me that he would be able to get the taxi to wait for me. During my journey to the airport, Leo again called the taxi driver to explain that I would pay in cash because he remembered that I said I didn’t have Alipay or any other e-wallet. Leo is attentive, takes initiative to assist hotel guests & reacts very quickly. He walks fast with a smiling face! Overall, the hotel is new, clean, luxurious in design, bed is comfortable & near to airport. Highly recommended. I will remember this hotel for the excellent service. Leo is an exemplary employee.

High level hotel, convenient location nearby PEK Airport and central business district. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast features large choice including freshly squeezed watermelon juice. And check-in was very friendly and professional, much appreciated.
