The hotel is brand new, but it does not have the complacency of a brand new hotel. The staff is making every effort to make guests feel welcome and pampered here. Ample breakfast variety. Spotless rooms (and I mean this). Convenient drive to Gimpo Airport for anyone wanting to sojourn before a long day of travel. Lots of 'mom and pop' restaurants, and convenient access to the Seoul Metro.

Great rooms and a WAY above average restaurant on-prem and you will overlook the less-than-ideal location and rigid staff. A delightful place to stay for work with plenty of good options for food in the neighbourhood too. BTW, VERY quiet on the upper floors!

Excellent Stay - Up to Marriott Standards! This Courtyard hotel definitely lives up to the Marriott name. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The location is also convenient; it's not too far from the subway station, making it easily walkable. I found it particularly suitable for a business trip, with all the standard services and amenities you'd expect. The rooms themselves feel quite modern and high-tech, and I especially appreciated having a garment steamer in the room. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Courtyard overlooking the Botanical Park is very beautiful. Watching the people in the park following their daily zen rituals was something different especially as some remained in the lotus position for 2 hours without a single movement. The rooms were a little spartan for my taste compared to other Marriott hotels I stay in. They were very clean but appeared clinical compared to homely and inviting. The robot delivering drinks and snacks was very different but it was South Korea.

A wonderful surprise in Magok! I stayed here for one night before my trip to Jeju, and it was my first time visiting the Magok area. I had no idea such a well-developed, modern neighborhood existed near Gimpo Airport—what a surprise! The hotel is conveniently located right next to Magongnaru Station and sits beside a beautiful park, which made for a peaceful and scenic stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious—definitely exceeded my expectations for a one-night airport-area stay. But what truly stood out was the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was informed that I could enjoy complimentary coffee at the restaurant throughout the day. I asked if soda was included, and while it wasn't, the young woman who checked us in kindly offered to bring us some sparkling water instead. That level of thoughtfulness—going beyond policy to meet a guest's need—was genuinely touching. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, but she was working at the leftmost front desk station on the afternoon of June 6th. I hope the hotel management sees this and recognizes her outstanding service. On the day of checkout, Amie Ha helped us send a few pieces of luggage to our next hotel, and she was incredibly kind, thorough, and proactive. She even suggested a more affordable shipping method and personally called the receiving hotel to explain the details. Her care and attention made everything so smooth—it was one of the best service experiences I’ve had at any hotel. If I return to Korea, I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
