The place might be small, but it has a beautiful indoor garden that offers a peaceful escape from the city. The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment. I had a good stay at Clock Inn Dehiwala. The atmosphere is pleasant and suitable for both short stays and backpackers, especially with their convenient hostel-style accommodation. One thing that really stood out was the staff—most of them are young boys from upcountry. They were very friendly, respectful, and helpful throughout my stay. You can tell they are hardworking and genuinely care about guest satisfaction. However, I also noticed that some of them feel their salaries may not be sufficient for the amount of work they do. I hope the management recognizes their efforts and supports them fairly—they truly are the backbone of the hotel. Overall, I recommend this place for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.

We stayed there recently and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast — it was fantastic! Even though the spread was limited, we really enjoyed it, and it was worth the price. The room was clean and comfortable. We also want to mention Danu at the front desk, who was especially kind and friendly. Thank you for the great hospitality — hope to see you again! ?
