I had booked a three night stay with the hotel. I booked a deluxe garden view room. And the view from the room was awesome.
The breakfast was super. The services were perfect actually the staff name tin he's so friendly.
I was a perfect stay.

Room was big, balcony was nice.
BUT the aircon was built into the ceilling so we couldn’t adjust the temperature, everytime we came back to the room it was just mega hot and we had to wait for an hour for it to cool down a little bit. Very hot to sleep at night.

Bathroom and fridge were super stinky, when we opened the bathroom door the smell spred around the whole room so we had to keep the bathroom closed. Overall, I think it wasn’t worth the money.

The rooms were absolutely fine, at a pretty good price for a capital city too. Beautiful sunset view. Bathroom was good and clean. Bedroom was clean. Included kettle and a fridge which was good as I was sick whilst there and we had to stay in. Aircon worked well, and a big TV for entertainment.

The hotel staff were not overly friendly, and stopped talking to me half way through to serve someone else multiple times which I thought was rude. They didn’t seem to really know what was going on. They asked for a room deposit but didn’t have any change which was silly. The cleaner also kept forgetting our towels! Which was inconvenient when I’ve just got out the shower and realised there isn’t one there!

The location wasn’t great either. Had to get tuktuks everywhere which is hard if you have to be somewhere at a certain time because there’s a lot of traffic in Phnom Penh.

Overall, the room was good, we would recommend for budget but there are things the hotel could work on!

The Conditions of the Room are worse Than Homeless Shelters. It was the dirtiest hotel I Have Ever Stayed in!

I booked for four nights but only stayed for two. No one could or should subject oneself to such horrible conditions!

Let The Following Be Warned If You Plan to Stay at ChilChill Hotel:

Health and safety hazards were everywhere; dust and stains covered all surfaces, including a Filthy shower head, a Filthy toilet paper roll cover, to name just a couple (please see pictures for details), exposed electrical wires, a detached bathroom vent, and a sagging desk. After numerous requests for cleaning and fixing while staying for two nights to give the hotel many chances to rectify these issues, the hotel refused to clean or repair them as a hotel was supposed to.

The hotel owner, who I saw in the lobby, and the front desk staff refused to clean, fix, and rectify the issues I presented. I only took the shower once after noticing how filthy the shower head was! The owner even refused to replace those non-working/burned-out light bulbs despite many requests when I checked in and brought up all those issues to the front desk. Three ceiling lights on the right-hand side of the bed had no switch for turning off and stayed on all day and night; the staff told me there was nothing they could do, so good luck if you try to sleep!!
