My partner and I just spent a wonderful weekend at Cempadak Island! The staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. They even took the time to explain the menu for our next meal and checked in to make sure everything was okay. The villas were beautiful, but be warned: if you're a light sleeper, the wind on the first night might keep you awake (the howling wind, creaking bamboo, and random motorboat noises at 1am+ didn't help!). However, the second night was much more peaceful, and we loved the serene atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning nature walk, which was insightful and informative. Kayaking around the island was also a blast! One quirky discovery: there's a mysterious phone booth on the island with a phone that rings! (I forget to ask the staff about it!) If you're there, go look for it and check it out. Overall, our weekend at Cempedak Island was incredibly relaxing and chill. We can't wait to come back!

Unforgettable Escape From start to finish, our stay at this resort was exceptional. Despite staying for only three nights, we found ourselves wishing we could extend our visit. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every aspect of our experience. The resort's culinary offerings were truly outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our time here was as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, the island offers a peaceful retreat where nature unfolds before your eyes. Mornings are filled with sounds of birds singing, while the local kingfisher can be spotted perched on the rocks during low tide. We hope to be returning again very soon.

Writing this review on day 2 of 4. The hospitality here is impeccable. The staff really take the effort to remember each guest and their preferences. They are always happy to go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. Special shoutout to Pak Cam and Rafly from the restaurant for being so attentive. (We told him we don’t really like peanuts and he remembers it and made other arrangements for us + always remembering the sambal!) Special shoutout to Pak Semuel for always looking out for us! Not forgetting Lulu for always bringing that extra energy! Writing this on day 3 of 4. The staff specially arranged for us to have a wonderful dinner under the stars by the jetty. Alfis was so kind and sweet, being so attentive to our needs, walking back and forth from the restaurant to the jetty to make sure we had everything we needed. Great night all thanks to the team who came down to the jetty to celebrate our birthdays with us. 10/10 experience, you gotta try the dinner under the stars!

A 4h door to door escape from Singapore. The place is quite a little paradise - the staff does an excellent job as well, remembering every guests’ names, preferences etc. They also provide lots of activities. Cam, Semuel, Roy, Lulu, … all are adorable and make it feel like home :) Food was amazing too… leading us to gain some weight by having some extra haha but that’s on us! Only thing, bring some strong insect repellent as it might be difficult to be safe from bites!

Living in Singapore we have been lucky enough to visit on several occasions over the years and this is a place that never disappoints. Consistently outstanding. The staff are always delightful, the food is fabulous, the spa amazing and the island as a whole is a dream. It’s where we feel the most relaxed. Book three nights minimum to maximise your stay. Pack a toothbrush and something to swim in and you’re good to go….the only downside is having to leave!
