Great room! Lovely setup in room, clean and tidy. We also used the communal kitchens which were decent. Only issues were we couldn’t control our air conditioning in our room, there was no hand soap and our room was directly above a bar!! As a result of the location of our room in the building we found it incredibly hard to hear our TV and sleep. Otherwise was a great stay!

Great location, 2 min walking distance to local supermarket and shops. 5 min from the main beach. The higher room price is worthwhile, it is reflective of the quality of rooms/amenities. Free breakfasts, clean amenities. Great social experiences arranged. Awesome pool area always buzzing. Cooking amenities are spacious. Easily one of the nicer backpackers I’ve ever been to, I’ve stayed in a couple other backpackers in surfers, bunk takes the win, hands down.

Fantastic hostel, the upgrade to the deluxe room is worth it the beds are comfy nice ensuite and lots of space! Purpose built bunks that don’t rattle which is awesome. The pool and kitchen area are large and spacious never felt too crowded and the hostel is close to Cavill ave and the beach as well as the tram. The only downside is the wifi is a bit average sometimes dropped out in the room and seemed to never work in the kitchen.

Absolutely wonderful. I would recommend to any traveler. Rooms and showers where incredibly clean. Lovely spacious shower. The 6 bed room had a TV sofa, food prep area, balcony and really comfy beds. It felt more like a hotel. 100% would stay here again.

Location is great. I would recommend getting a superior room. Especially if they ask you at check-in to pay $5 more for an upgrade (or just as soon as you book), it's definitely worth the nicer room + better shower + better mattress! There are not any organised activities, so not very social.
