My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable stay at Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape. One I can truly recommend. The resort offers an immersive experience that goes beyond a typical hotel stay. Our open-concept villa, designed without walls, was amazing and so comfortable. It allowed us to really experience the nature around us at all times and we could even hear the nearby waterfall. We engaged in many activities, such as a cultural flower offering and a hike to a nearby waterfall, which taught us about the local environment and traditions. The Spa provided exceptional wellness treatments sneak we had an amazing couples massage here. The staff’s genuine kindness and hospitality really elevate Buahan- they made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We can't wait to return one day!

If you are looking for a luxury experience that immerses you into the natural beauty of Bali, Buahan is the best option. Their no walls, no doors concept is incredible. I felt like I was sleeping in the forest! The rooms are artfully designed for comfort and enjoying the natural beauty of the forest. The staff are incredible, always going the extra step to ensure you have a memorable stay. I highly recommend the waterfall blessing ceremony and the cooking class while you are there. Chef Surya is a passionate instructor who will teach you about many native plants and how they even make their own soy sauce on site. The mixologists at the Botanist Bar are incredibly talented, just let them know what you like and they will make you something very unique that you’ve never tried before. I cannot wait to return to Buahan. The kindness of the staff and the beauty of the location will stick with me for a long time!

You’ll really feel connected to the natural surroundings, and it’s such a great way to experience the authentic beauty of Bali. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help—genuine hospitality that makes you feel truly taken care of. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, and you can really tell it's prepared with love and attention to detail. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and meaningful stay in Bali.

Banyan tree escape exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the serene surroundings to the soul-soothing experiences, every moment felt like a mindful escape from the everyday rush. A heartfelt thanks to Riadi, who took care of our stay from start to finish—giving us a warm and detailed introduction to the place and always being just a call away whenever we needed anything. His presence made our experience seamless and stress-free. Arsana at the bar also deserves a big shoutout—he crafted what might just be the world’s first warm cocktail, specially made to ease my cold and cough. It was comforting, unique, and incredibly thoughtful. Riska made our dining experience even more special. She patiently walked us through the dinner plan each night, explaining every dish with such warmth and attention to detail. Her care added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. And the chefs—wow! They went above and beyond, preparing a delicious local Nasi Goreng tailored to our Indian vegetarian taste buds. Buahan truly is a sanctuary of care, connection, and calm.
