Hostel themed as a party house. A really good place to stay on a budget and make friends, in Sukhumvit 23. During my stay i really enjoyed making friends there, the rooms are big with 10-12 beds and believe me they are clean and comfy. The only downside which i found was no covered windows which sometimes disturbs your sleep in the morning otherwise everything is cool, especially the nearby amenities.?

Amazing hostel! I can’t think of a better experience I’ve had with accommodation in Bangkok. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Reggie and Toby are super helpful and ensure that guests have a great time. I really enjoyed the games, karaoke, and meeting all of the like minded travelers. After staying a month in this hostel it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back every time I’m in Bangkok!

It is a scam and the worst hostel ever.

Firstly, it started from the first day when I arrived and wanted to check in about 2am in the morning, the reception was closed and I called the number more than 3 times no one answered. I already remarked to the hostel I would check in late. So I was very upset, but gratefully there is one guest let me sleep in his room over night, then the next morning I did the check in with the reception but she gave me one room key that did not work, I had to come down again to change it. It’s only a plastic key holder which obviously is not a fob.

Second night, I came back about 2:28am, I was locked out of the number 3 gate and no one tell me the password on the key pad, also no fob for me at all so I was more likely to call the police to contact the owner or sleep outside on the street!! Which is a big no no. I also tried to called the hostel number, same thing no one answered me.

Regarding to these very bad experiences, I was told by the girl at the reception that I could ask refund via Agoda then they will process it when I checked it. Basically, I paid for two nights, but I wasn’t able to stay in the hostel properly. I have to help myself to find a sleeping place which is ridiculous!

However, after 4 days attempts the Agoda couldn’t reach out the hostel, so I couldn’t get the refund. It is a REAL SCAM ever.

Crews be cautious about this hostel!

The property itself was fine. Big, clean dorms (aside from one toilet light that has not worked since the first time I stayed a week ago and the rats and cockroaches, that are also mentioned by many other reviewers, outside the front entrance/sitting area). I actually ended up booking additional nights as the condition of the property, its location, and the price were fine.
The way the property does business lacks integrity. I booked on Agoda. Agoda didn't send any booking confirmation via email or via the app. Upon check in, the staff also advised they did not have a booking for me. I rebooked using another app and paid cash as wasn't sure what was going on with Agoda. (The discounted price was only available online.)
The following day, I noticed that Agoda had sent a booking confirmation hours after the initial booking. I called Agoda immediately. Agoda advised that they had upgraded their system the previous night which may have caused some glitches. They advised that they would send a no fee cancellation request to the property and asked me to also follow up with the property. I spoke to the property who told me they would look out for the request and 'no problem.'
Several days later, Agoda advised that the property required proof that I had been charged for the original booking. I provided a credit card statement to Agoda. Heard nothing back for a few days.
At check out, I reminded the staff about the no fee cancellation request and was told again that there would be no problem. After checking out and leaving the city, Agoda sent an email advising that the property was now requesting proof of the cash payment. At this time, there was no way to obtain this document so in the end they took double the money that should have been paid for the initial booking.
My issue isn't with the amount of money as it was negligible. My low rating is for the shady way that they did business. Why not just be honest and say that they were not going to issue a refund to begin with if that was the actual truth?
