Right by Haeundae beach. Service was excellent. Infinity pool was nice and warm (in February) American breakfast was nice and pleasant. Room was extremely clean and high end (for its price range) The only con would be… the toilet (with bidet) had a smell (time for a deep clean…) Location was perfect and it was easy to find. Close to the bus stops Thank you!

Decent stay at the Baymond Hotel. Rooms are comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a massive TV. Negatives were the poor bathroom lighting (impossible for makeup application), bar fridge that was too cold to the point of freezing, and washing machine not working. Positives included friendly staff and a wonderful rooftop pool and sauna area with food & beverage service. Location is close to beach and a short walk to buses and train, but there are many hotel options in more scenic or convenient areas beachside or near the main street.

After much searching and deliberation we decided on the Baymond Hotel in Haeundae and it certainly did satisfy with everything we wanted. The larger rooms have views towards the beach and Dongbaek and are well proportioned with a large bedroom space and an equally large and well appointed bathroom with separate shower, toilet, double sinks and bath. We stayed here for 10 nights and found the staff to be efficient friendly and helpful. You should ask at reception if you need your room cleaned each day. The Genie control of the room can be set to English but (like Amazon Alexa) can struggle to understand and act on instructions. We discovered the No 1003 bus route on the beach road was useful for getting out and around to investigate other areas of Busan though 2 metro stations are within an easy 10 minute walk. The heated rooftop pool and whirlpool was great and it was never overly busy and we always got a sunbed: a real bonus on a warm sunny day. An additional nicety was the afternoon tea with a small cake which was provided daily. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we are back in Busan it remains our hotel of choice. It won’t fail to disappoint! Thank you all for a lovely stay

What a find. We stayed in a sea view room which had great views, lots of space and the biggest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel room. It was excellent value for just the room but included in the price is the wonderful heated pool on the roof with its views and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a laundry room on the 10th floor free for guests and every afternoon you can have a complimentary tea/coffee and pastry in the dining room on the 3rd floor. It is less than 10 minutes to the metro or even better is the 1003 bus on the beach road just 2 minutes away which takes you downtown in a similar time to the metro. Haeundae is a great area for first time visitors to Busan and the Baymond was an excellent choice for our trip.
