191 Queen's Gate, South Kensington, London SW7 5EU, United Kingdom
Stayed here for a week in a 6 person dorm. The other travelers were welcoming and nice, but generally older crowd. The kitchen is very nice and the staff are super helpful and easy to approach. My only complaint is the cleaning of the bathroom/shower. Definitely black mold in there. Overall, would stay again!
My experience at this hostel was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and professional. The facilities are very clean. The area is very spacious and you will always be able to find a quiet place where you can work remotely, study and have a peace of mind. I recommend this hostel for anyone who might be staying in London because it's very affordable and you will be situated in one of the finest parts of the city and you have great transport links. Did I mention that you have the biggest park situated within a few minute walk. Keep up the good work. Will always recommend this place to my friends and family.
Astor Hyde Park Hostel is a hostel in the heart of London, in the Kensington district. It offers good value for money—just under £20 for a bed and a roof over your head. Given the price, it’s a fair deal. The downside is that the rooms have triple bunk beds and only one bathroom for 15 or more people. However, considering the cost, it’s acceptable. A special mention goes to the reception staff—friendly, polite, always smiling, and willing to assist guests with any information they may need. Thank you, see you next time!
The hostel was friendly, well located and had good facilities. I enjoyed staying here. I was also a bit of a nightmare in that I had something sent to be deliver here and it did not turn up (no fault of the hostels) and was super impressed with how they handled the situation etc. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.
