135-21 37th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354, United States
Asiantic Hotel is a great value proposition. It's located at the center of Flushing with walking distance to restaurants, food courts, grocery stores and most importantly the 7 subway train to NYC. This is not a 5 star hotel so be realistic with what you are paying for, which is great value. Few tips below: 1. Parking - As of 4/1 I paid $20 per night with validated parking ticket in the Prince Street underground parking garage. It's not easy to spot the entrance, but GPS is correct and it is located on street level with a small entrance to go underground. If you do not plan to use your car, you do not need to go there each day like the hotel receptionist suggests, you just go back when you want to leave (make sure to get validation from hotel). 2. Food options - If you are unsure about the food options, go to the New Century food court where you will have 20+ option available to choose (not sure if the recent fire impacted this location). There is also a grocery place above the food court, you can stock up on water and snacks before going into NYC. 3. Checkout time - The hotel has a check out of 12PM, but was able to push it to 1PM for free and 2PM for a small cost. You can also leave your luggage there after check out if you are not leaving right away. Nearby Restaurant recommendations (non-food court): 1. Asian Jewel (Dim Sum) 2. Fu Yuan (steamed rice rolls, congee( 3. JiBeiChuan Noodles (noodles) 4. Eight Jane (jianbing) 5. SHAKALAKA BAKERY (fancy bakery)
Clean, spacious (for nyc) rooms with a desk and comfortable beds... a real bargain, just a couple blocks from the 7 train. I walked to Citi field for a mets game. Just keep in mind that it is indeed Asiatic (e.g.the durian notice), as is the neighborhood (NYCs biggest Chinatown), so breakfast is going to include congee and steamed buns- which I happen to love- as well as some limited western options.
The Asiatic Hotel New York is centrally located in the heart of Flushing’s vibrant downtown area, offering unparalleled convenience with its close proximity to numerous attractions and amenities. Guests will find the location ideal for exploring the bustling neighborhood and accessing local services with ease. Housekeeping services are available upon advanced request. During my stay as part of a family of four, we initially found only two sets of towels provided in the room. However, the front desk staff delivered exceptional service, promptly supplying additional towels and toiletries to accommodate our needs. One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast, particularly the congee accompanied by roasted chicken baos. The unique and delicious offerings added a delightful touch to the overall experience.
Located in Flushing, NY. Heavy Chinese influenced neighborhood. Excellent to have an authentic Chinese experience. The room was very cozy as well as the bed. Very quite and easy commute to LaGuardia Airport. I would book here again.... ?
Great hotel for tourists for a week trip to New York. Very close to the subway to get to the city center. Clean, confortsble. Good breakfasts, helpful service, very quiet at night. . You can hear a Little bit of planes flying over but it really doesn't bother You.
