31 World Cup buk-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Great - Clean & new, smells good. Bathroom and tub is polished and well maintained. Room fixtures are new and kept in good condition. No carpet so no musky smell too. Can be improved - Sound proofing needs more work, we were fortunate it was lull season, so we were only disturbed by the occasional noise from corridor. There is no water dispenser in the entire hotel (not even the gym) so we could only rely on plastic bottled water, which was something we are not used to since all other hotels I've stayed in have at least 1 water dispenser. Pool - non existent, do not be fooled by the pictures, the swimming pool on the lobby level was a dry well sitting out in the sun. Quite pathetic and a bummer since the weather was so lovely in May. Location - 10 min walk to Hongik Uni station, it is very helpful we had Climate Card so we took (unlimited) bus rides everywhere and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel (really saved my feet there).
We only stayed one night due to our flight being cancelled, but we really liked Amanti Hotel and would stay again. The pool wasn't open, and we didn't try the buffet breakfast, but we enjoyed the 12pm checkout and were stoked we could leave our luggage as we had a lot, and our flight was later that evening. Nice hotel. No complaints. Close to restaurants, convenience stores, and cafes. A short walk to Hongdae Shopping Street and Hongdae.
