Aayu Chulia is an amazing place to stay! Their customer service is top-notch, and Andy Ooi went above and beyond when I accidentally left an important item behind. He was incredibly polite, patient, and quick to locate my item, making the whole process stress-free. The room (#107) was cozy, clean, and practical, with silent, efficient air conditioning. The shared toilets and showers were spotless and well-stocked with shampoo, body wash, and hairdryers. The communal kitchen had everything I needed, including a fridge, microwave, and on-demand hot and cold water. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the prime location made it an unbeatable deal. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling! Great value, great service, and an unforgettable stay. 5 stars!

We have stayed here twice due to the location and getting good service. Once downstairs in a private bathroom. I would say that room was more damp/ moist and you can hear all the noises from upstairs and the communal areas due to the heritage building lack of soundproofing. The second time we decided to try the double room on the second floor with shared bathrooms and would say this was a lot better. The room was a lot more spacious and no dampness/ moistness. We were placed in the room on the main road side so of course you can hear everything BUT I wouldn't say that would take away from it being a decent room. Shared bathrooms/ toilet areas were clean, the communal areas were clean and we always saw the cleaners during the day tidying things up. There is also a bookshelf which I was able to do a book exchange which is very handy! There is a filtered water tap in the kitchen.

We stayed 4 nights and we enjoyed very much the place, easy to reach from the ferry, the staff instructed us perfectly and they deserve an extra star for all the info they provide, also the bread treat was very nice and the accomodation is very comfy. It is located close to the night street food road, the scooter rentals, restaurants; there is an excellent bakery few steps away and many other spot of interests. Just a suggestion: the room should have shelves where to put clothing and fix the ventilation in the bathroom of our room (n.2) which never worked. As for the rest, bed and pillows were very comfy and most of the people respect the silence roule after 10 pm, which is great considering the proximity of the rooms.

Amazing Property Situated literally at the walking distance to all the good food & attractions of Georgetown, Penang. The Host Lava & Hariz were very friendly and followed from the time of booking till checkin. I stayed in Single bed room which is more convenient for a solo travel and luxury to a minimalist like me. Plenty of Shared toilets and bathrooms which were kept very clean and housekeeping persons also regularly doing the cleaning work. Kitchen also available with necessary kitchenware, bread toaster and Oven. Totally this place is very ideal place to stay in George Town and worth for the money. Thanks ☺️
