We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. A big thanks to Royce, Qiao, Scarlet and Nina for making us feel so welcome and providing us with all the information we needed for our trip. The 17th floor housekeeper, Xiang xiao e, made our room super clean and felt just like being at home. The hotel is conveniently located and there is a metro station right next door. It is very easy to get to all the attractions. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel. There's a huge variety of food to choose from and the signature hot dry spicy noodles are delicious.

Located at the heart of the city. I had an amazing stay at the hotel thanks to the incredible staff. Lucy, Jolie, and Melody were exceptionally welcoming and took great care of me, making me feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality truly stood out.

Overall, our stay at Xi'an Ritz Carlton has been pleasant. Although there were some hiccups here and there, we appreciate that some of the feedback was quickly addressed. Our experience: 1) There was a problem in managing the crowd and diners at the breakfast buffet. For example, our table was taken by another group of guests when we went to get our food. We also saw few other groups with the same problem. It will be great if there is a "reserved / occupied" sign on the table so that problems like this can be minimised. This works great in some other hotels. Good thing the staff got us another table quickly. 2) We gave feedback that the Breakfast buffet was mostly food with high carbs (even though Xi'an is known as the city of carbohydrates), it would be great if there is more protein-based food so as to have a good balance. This feedback was also given after comparing the breakfast buffet from different hotels across China. What was surprising is that we were served steak/chicken separately the following 2 days during the breakfast buffet. Even though this was a small gesture, it is the attentive service that made it memorable for us. I also have to commend the staff by the name of "Jane" who made our breakfast experience at Ritz Carlton a very good one with the great service provided. She's an asset to the Ritz Carlton team! 3) The front desk made a blunder such that we got locked out of our own room when we returned in the evening even though we reminded them to keep the room for us in the morning. Service recovery was quick and prompt though by the male staff at the front desk on the evening (around 5-6pm) of 26 December 2024. 4) The socket outlet at the bedside table is not the best, tried a few different universal travel adapters (usually bulky) and were not able to fit/plug in. Last but not least, I must say that the Christmas tree/decorations at the lobby look really good!

Very good overall but got a lot of small issues. The left night stand outlet doesn’t work. The TV remote out of battery and the TV turned on by itself at 7:45 on the day of check out which woke the whole family and kind of scary. Also the door fob mechanism on the door was out of battery so I had to go to the concierge 3 times and eventually got my wife to let me in coz the kid was sleep and I couldn’t have staff repairing the door at night. Another thing was that one of the main reason we booked this hotel was coz we saw online that some children have gotten little gifts such as lion stuffie but we didn’t get anything which made our kid quite disappointed. Among the 3 hotels we stayed in Xi’An, this is the only one with air conditioner providing cold air in March so I’d probably book again, but there’s just so many little issues with them.
