It is one of the main temples of the city. It is a must visit for locals and foreigners. For foreigners, USD 1 ticket admission. Good place for praying and pay respect to the historical relevance of the city. Walk around the park that host the temple and enjoy the giant clock on it. A landmark in town.

Great place to see the form of their worship here. I love the detail of it all. Notice the acorn shaped urns were actually made of many Reil bills. The gold covering whether leaf or paint was everywhere. It's a lot more interesting than some of the more monochrome architecture you see in the west. Be sure to take your hat off and shoes when you enter out of respect.

This areal is beautiful. Entrance is cheap, and you can visit pagoda and adjacent sanctuaries. You can also entered and pray (or try to pray) by buddhistic manner. Because of you need to take shoes off, probably little child will be looking after them and then try to scam you for some money. It is better to not give it, it is illegal and this child is not going to school so you unconsciously support the child labor.

It's an old pagoda in the center city of Phnom Penh. I was there very late in the afternoon and there was not any festival and there were not many people there. It was quiet and I enjoyed the atmosphere there. There were many beggars at the entrance of the pagoda and many of them were kids.

Went on a Sunday at around 5.30pm. They told me to put the $1 in a box, and no tickets were issued. Other than that, place was nice, beautiful buildings, and sunset was super awesome. Spent around 1hr and 10mins to take multiple photos.
