The Washington Square Arch is a beautiful and iconic landmark in the middle of Washington Square Park. It’s got this classic, grand look and serves as a cool backdrop for the park’s lively vibe. You’ll often see people hanging out, street performers, and artists nearby, so there’s always something happening. It’s a great spot to relax, people-watch, or snap some photos if you’re in Greenwich Village!

For me this is in my Top 3 places to visit in NYC. Art everywhere, nice restaurants around and many things to do.

One of my favorite places in the city. Crowded but still enjoyable.

It’s a very nice monument and definitely a must see on manhattan island! Interesting to me was that in one corner all the black folks were gathering and sitting and lying on the park benches. Looking quite drugged, sick and were mostly homeless according their appearance. The other corner was the dog run where only white people were gathering to enjoy their leisure hobby of domesticating dogs. It was a good mirror reflecting the separation within the NYC society.
